The German playwright, dramaturg, translator and director Marius von Ma Modulenburg is considered one of the more exciting contemporary playwrights. All his plays painfully open up many problems of modern society, but mostly deal with topics within the family and in relation to maladaptive individuals.
E / C is the story of a couple who no longer see each other. Daniel and Katarina, both highly educated (he is an architect, she is a doctor), outwardly act as a successful married couple, but in fact their relationship is completely drained. Both are dissatisfied with life, their careers are not as dazzling as they would like, they are exhausted by small children, they are tired and bitter. Catherine is aggressive and poisonous, Daniel retreats and resorts to passive aggression, which, however, inflicts no minor wounds. One evening, as usual, when they are dealing with insults, Daniel's ex-love Janja appears at the door, who, after an argument with her current partner, found herself on the road and in despair resorted to them. Her arrival only adds fuel to the fire in the quarrel of the spouses. There is no end or place to impatience, provocation, accusation and humiliation. It also turns out that Daniel's relationship with Janja is by no means clarified to the end.
The performance lasts an hour and 30 minutes, without a break.

Ena noč bo razkrila vse strahove, rane in laži. Odgovoriti bo treba na vprašanja, položiti račune.
Nemški dramatik, dramaturg, prevajalec in režiser Marius von Mayenburg velja za enega vznemirljivejših sodobnih dramskih piscev. Vse njegove igre boleče razpirajo mnogotere probleme sodobne družbe, večinoma pa obravnavajo teme znotraj družine in v zvezi z neprilagojenimi posamezniki.
Ex je zgodba o paru, ki se ne vidi več. Daniel in Katarina, oba visoko izobražena (on je arhitekt, ona zdravnica), navzven delujeta kot uspešen zakonski par, v resnici pa je njun odnos popolnoma izpraznjen. Oba sta nezadovoljna z življenjem, njuni karieri nista tako bleščeči, kot bi si želela, majhna otroka ju izčrpavata, naveličana sta in zagrenjena. Katarina je napadalna in strupena, Daniel se umika in zateka v pasivno agresivnost, ki pa ne zadaja nič manjših ran. Ko se nekega večera tako kot običajno obkladata z žaljivkami, se na vratih pojavi Danielova bivša ljubezen Janja, ki se je po prepiru s svojim sedanjim partnerjem znašla na cesti in se v obupu zatekla k njima. Njen prihod samo še prilije olje na ogenj v prepiranju zakoncev. Nestrpnostim, provociranjem, obtoževanjem in poniževanjem ni ne konca ne kraja. Izkaže se tudi, da Danielov odnos z Janjo nikakor ni do konca razčiščen.
Predstava traja uro in 30 minut, brez odmora.
