The Izola City Library, The Dog Point Institute and the Learning center – Center for Lifelong Learning invite you to the lecture "how to raise a puppy in a friendly way". At the event, JASNA POZNIC and NIKA BERGANT, translators of the book of the same name by Stephanie Rousseau and Turid Rugaas, will present key approaches to raising puppies in a way that takes into account their well-being, natural needs and emotional development.
Jasna Poznic is a translator of the book How to raise a puppy in a friendly way, and is also a consultant for small animal behavior, cynologist, breeder of Tibetan Terriers and instructor of agility/.
Nika Bergant is the founder of the Shnof dog school, she leads Social walks and classes in working with the nose, has been working as a walker at the Ljubljana shelter for more than a decade and is a volunteer of the Greyhound Society. She participated in the translation of the book as an assistant and proofreader.
The lecture is intended for all current, future and past dog keepers, as well as for everyone who is interested in the topic.

Mestna knjižnica Izola, zavod Pasja točka in Učni center – Center za vseživljenjsko učenje vabijo na PREDAVANJE »KAKO VZGOJITI MLADIČA NA ZANJ PRIJAZEN NAČIN«. Na dogodku bosta JASNA POZNIČ in NIKA BERGANT, prevajalki istoimenske knjige avtoric Stephanie Rousseau in Turid Rugaas, predstavili ključne pristope k vzgoji pasjih mladičev na način, ki upošteva njihovo dobrobit, naravne potrebe in čustveni razvoj.
Jasna Poznič je prevajalka knjige Kako vzgojiti mladiča na zanj prijazen način, sicer pa tudi svetovalka za vedenje malih živali, kinologinja, vzrediteljica tibetanskih terierjev in inštruktorica agility-ja.
Nika Bergant je ustanoviteljica pasje šole Šnof, vodi družabne sprehode in tečaje dela z nosom, več kot desetletje sodeluje kot sprehajalka v Zavetišču Ljubljana in je prostovoljka Društva Hrtji Svet. Pri prevodu knjige je sodelovala kot pomočnica in lektorica.
Predavanje je namenjeno vsem sedanjim, bodočim in preteklim skrbnikom psov, pa tudi vsem, ki jih tematika zanima.
