Fairy tales under candelabra continue the tradition of fairy-tale wanderings of families with children around Ljubljana and a pleasant transition from vacation to the new school year. After Plecnik, bridges, city walls, courtyards, fountains, portals, children's playgrounds, tree crowns and last year's bell towers, this year we venture under the city lamps – Candelabra, which are not just a source of light, but the keepers of stories. At selected locations, Slovenian kamishibaj artists will create tiny site-specific performances related to the character of space, the play of Shadows, evening light and city secrets. Children will listen to fairy tales, observe the city from new perspectives and discover how stories grow from the places we live in.

Pravljice pod kandelabrom nadaljujejo tradicijo pravljičnega potepanja družin z otroki po Ljubljani in prijetnega prehoda iz počitnic v novo šolsko leto. Po Plečniku, mostovih, mestnih zidovih, dvoriščih, vodnjakih, portalih, otroških igriščih, krošnjah dreves in lanskih zvonikih se letos podajamo pod mestne svetilke – kandelabre, ki niso le vir svetlobe, temveč čuvaji zgodb. Na izbranih lokacijah bodo slovenski kamišibaj umetniki ustvarili drobne site-specific predstave, povezane z značajem prostora, igro senc, večerno svetlobo in mestnimi skrivnostmi. Otroci bodo poslušali pravljice, opazovali mesto iz novih perspektiv in odkrivali, kako zgodbe rastejo iz krajev, v katerih živimo.
