The 2026 Veronica cup celebrates its 10th. anniversary performance and will take place between 28. and 31. May in Kamnik. As a recognised competition for the world rankings, it attracts over 300 archers from over 30 countries each year. The purpose of organizing the Cup is to offer the experience of competing in major international competitions on home soil. An old legend says that Princess Veronica lived in the castle above Kamnik, who did not want to share her wealth with her fellow countrymen and, as a result of a curse, turned into a half-woman and half-snake. The lesson of the story is clear: we need to Share our wealth, because this is how we all live better.
That is why we want to attract competitors from all corners of the world, from Olympic champions to Sunday archery enthusiasts, to compete with Slovenian archers and exchange experiences with them. We have been doing this for many years and the vision of the Archery Club Kamnik is to make the Veronica Cup the largest open-type competition in Europe. The Cup is becoming more and more popular and recognizable. We have successfully confirmed this for 10 years. year in a row.
The competition offers the ultimate shooting experience in a beautiful alpine environment. The highlight of the event is the final matches, which will be 31. May took place in the Wolf Creek Arboretum . A unique location that offers an exceptional atmosphere and connects top sport with an unforgettable experience for competitors and visitors.

Veronikin pokal leta 2026 praznuje svojo 10. jubilejno izvedbo in bo potekal med 28. in 31. majem v Kamniku. Kot priznano tekmovanje za svetovno lestvico vsako leto privabi več kot 300 lokostrelcev iz več kot 30 držav. Namen organizacije pokala je ponuditi izkušnjo tekmovanja na velikih mednarodnih tekmovanjih na domačih tleh. Stara legenda pravi, da je v gradu nad Kamnikom živela princesa Veronika, ki svojega bogastva ni želela deliti s sokrajani in se je zaradi prekletstva spremenila v pol žensko in pol kačo.
