Magdalena Pedarnig is an active Austrian citrarch of the younger generation from East Tyrol. At the age of six, she began to attend zither classes, and a few years later she also began to play the clarinet. She started early with successful performances in music competitions at national and international level.
Between 2014 and 2018, she studied zither with Isolde Jordan and Harald Oberlechner at the Mozarteum in Innsbruck, and later completed her clarinet studies. He is also involved in conducting. He teaches at music schools in Tyrol, since 2022 also at the Gustav Mahler private music University (GMPU) in Klagenfurt.
She is already well acquainted with the Slovenian Citra scene, as she has already been a guest in the framework of the zither workshops in Velenje, the Citra seminar in Celje and as a foreign member in the evaluation committee of the TEMSIG national competition.

Magdalena Pedarnig je aktivna avstrijska citrarka mlajše generacije z Vzhodne Tirolske. Pri šestih letih je začela obiskovati ure citer, nekaj let pozneje pa je začela igrati tudi klarinet. Zgodaj je pričela z uspešnimi nastopi na glasbenih tekmovanjih na nacionalni in mednarodni ravni.
Med letoma 2014 in 2018 je študirala citre pri Isolde Jordan in Haraldu Oberlechnerju na Mozarteumu v Innsbrucku, pozneje pa je končala še študij klarineta. Ukvarja se tudi z dirigiranjem. Poučuje na glasbenih šolah na Tirolskem, od leta 2022 tudi na Zasebni glasbeni univerzi Gustav Mahler (GMPU) v Celovcu.
Dobro že pozna slovensko citrarsko sceno, saj je že gostovala v okviru Prešmentanih citer v Velenju, citrarskega seminarja v Celju in kot tuja članica v ocenjevalni komisiji državnega tekmovanja TEMSIG.
