You are invited to spend the summer Museum night at the Maribor Art Gallery! We are preparing short dates with selected works from the UGM Collection, opening of the sales exhibition of Maribor artist Joze Shubic in UGM shop and insight into the art products of young participants and workshop participants. We will end the gathering on the platform in front of the gallery with refreshments and music.
All Exhibition Grounds are open between 18: 00 and midnight. Free admission!

The exhibited works are created as a relaxing" respite " during the painting cycle of a larger format makes a picture with which they also relate in content. Therefore, eroticized images gently challenge and strengthen the viewer and the viewer in the duality between passive voyeurism and the active feeling of one's own love and sexual Imaginarium. As Shubic has been close in the past, he recycles his old works on paper and connects watercolor with graphics, drawing and acrylic into an effective new Whole.

With artworks from the UGM collection, young people were confronted with the experience of deep observation, understanding and experiencing, as well as artistic and literary recreation. They devoted themselves to paintings, drawings and other works of art for a longer creative time, when they transferred the observed to a new carrier and into new stories. In doing so, they were accompanied by mentors: akad. painter Vid Koprivsek, prof. character. um. and artist Natalija R. Negro, akad. painter Milan Ketis and poet Nina Medved and students of art history Klara Zadravec and Jan Slacek.

Vabljeni, da Poletno muzejsko noč preživite v Umetnostni galeriji Maribor! Pripravljamo kratke zmenke z izbranimi deli iz Zbirke UGM, otvoritev prodajne razstave mariborskega umetnika Jožeta Šubica v UGM Šopu in vpogled v likovne izdelke mladih udeležencev in udeleženk delavnic. Druženje bomo zaključili na ploščadi pred galerijo ob osvežitvi in glasbi.
Vsa razstavišča so odprta med 18.00 in polnočjo. Vstop prost!

Razstavljena dela nastajajo kot sproščujoč »predih« med slikanjem ciklusa večjega formata Naredi sliko, s katerim se tudi vsebinsko povezujejo. Zato erotizirane podobe nežno izzivajo ter gledalca in gledalko krepijo v dvojnosti med pasivnim voajerizmom in aktivnim čutenjem lastnega ljubezenskega in spolnega imaginarija. Kot je Šubicu že v preteklosti bilo blizu, svoja stara dela na papirju reciklira in v učinkovito novo celoto povezuje akvarel z grafiko, risbo in akrilom.
19.00 − Mladi kopisti v galeriji

Z umetninami iz Zbirke UGM so se mladi soočili z izkušnjo poglobljenega opazovanja, razumevanja in doživljanja ter likovnega in literarnega poustvarjanja. Slikam, risbam in drugim umetninam so se posvetili za daljši kreativni čas, ko so opazovano prenašali na nov nosilec in v nove zgodbe. Pri tem so jih spremljali mentorji: akad. slikar Vid Koprivšek, prof. lik. um. in umetnica Natalija R. Črnčec, akad. slikar Milan Ketiš in pesnica Nina Medved ter študenta umetnostne zgodovine Klara Zadravec in Jan Slaček.
20.30−22.30 − Srečanje z umetninami iz Zbirke UGM

V okviru razstave Spekter. 70 let Zbirke UGM bodo kustosinja Živa Kleindienst, ter umetnostna zgodovinarja Klara Zadravec in Jan Slaček pripravili hitre, 15-minutne, zmenke z izbranimi deli iz Zbirke UGM.
