On Saturday, 21. in June, Koper comes alive again under the sign of the summer Museum night, the largest all-Russian promotion of museums, galleries and institutions that care about our cultural heritage. This year, Koper institutions are joining this special night with extended working hours, free admission and a rich program.
The evening will be marked by exhibitions, guided tours, cultural talks and stunning video mapping on the facade of the Praetorian Palace , which will revive 1500 years of the city's history.

18.00-19.00: mirrors, mirrors on the wall, tell me, who is the most elegant in the land this one? - opening of a new permanent exhibition
19.00 – 20.00: let's get to know the work of an archaeologist-workshop for children and families
20.00-21.00: restoration of the stone at the Regional Museum Koper-management of the conservation and restoration department
21.00-22.00: baroque time-guided tour of permanent art historical exhibitions
22.30-23.30: guided tour of permanent archaeological exhibitions and presentation of the digital showcase
The main event of the evening will be the grand opening of the renovated permanent museum, named the Venice salon, which revives the world of high society from the last 18 decades. century. We will discover the sophistication and luxury of the salon company, where art, fashion and culture were intertwined. The event will be further enriched by the Al Tempo di Tartini group , which will recreate everyday life in a baroque atmosphere with vivid scenes and over a cup of tea.

V soboto, 21. junija, Koper znova zaživi v znamenju Poletne muzejske noči , največje vseslovenske promocije muzejev, galerij in ustanov, ki skrbijo za našo kulturno dediščino. Tudi letos se koprske ustanove pridružujejo tej posebni noči s podaljšanim delovnim časom, brezplačnim vstopom in bogatim programom.
Večer bodo zaznamovali razstave, vodstva, kulturni pogovori in osupljiv video mapping na pročelju Pretorske palače , ki bo oživil 1500 let zgodovine mesta.
POKRAJINSKI MUZEJ KOPER
18.00–19.00: Zrcalce, zrcalce na steni, povej, kdo najelegantnejši v deželi je tej? – otvoritev nove stalne razstave
19.00–20.00: Spoznajmo delo arheologa – delavnica za otroke in družine
20.00–21.00: Restavriranje kamna v Pokrajinskem muzeju Koper – vodstvo konservatorsko-restavratorksega oddelka
21.00–22.00: Čas baroka – vodstvo po stalnih umetnostnozgodovinskih razstavah
22.30–23.30: Vodstvo po stalnih arheoloških razstavah in predstavitev digitalne vitrine
Osrednji dogodek večera bo slovesno odprtje prenovljene stalne muzejske postavitve, poimenovane Beneški salon , ki obuja svet visoke družbe iz zadnjih desetletij 18. stoletja. Odkrivali bomo prefinjenost in razkošje salonske družbe, kjer so se prepletali umetnost, moda in kultura. Dogodek bo dodatno obogatila skupina Al Tempo di Tartini , ki bo z živimi prizori in ob skodelici čaja poustvarila vsakdanje življenje v baročni atmosferi.
