Paul Grem is a Koper-based rock band that combines influences from Blues, counter music and classic rock and intertwines them with confessional lyrics in Slovenian.
Their sound is raw, honest and mature author's, marked by pronounced guitar lines and convincing stage energy. Their album Light of the past is described as a carefully folded debut, in which the members ' many years of musical experience are reflected. The name of the group was born almost by accident-just before the first performance, after a lengthy search, bassist Patrik was overflowing, and he stated: "If we don't have a name yet, I'm half going!"And this is how Paul Grem was formed – a band that confidently stepped on its musical path.
The band members are Dusan Sagadin Duco (vocals, guitar), Marko Stropnik (guitar), Andrej Rot (guitar), Patrik Grbac (bass guitar) and Mitja Stropnik (drums).
Paul Grem je koprska rock zasedba, ki združuje vplive bluesa, countryja in klasičnega rocka ter jih prepleta z izpovednimi besedili v slovenščini.
Njihov zvok je surov, iskren in zrelo avtorski, zaznamovan z izrazitimi kitarskimi linijami ter prepričljivo odrsko energijo. Njihov album Luč preteklosti je opisan kot skrbno zložen prvenec, v katerem se kažejo dolgoletne glasbene izkušnje članov. Ime skupine se je rodilo skoraj po naključju – tik pred prvim nastopom, po dolgotrajnem iskanju, je basistu Patriku prekipelo in je izjavil: »Če še nimamo imena, pol grem!« In tako je nastal Paul Grem – bend, ki je samozavestno stopil na svojo glasbeno pot.
