SLO12RUN is a 12 and 6 Hour race that runs through the center of Kranj, in a circle 1,250 meters long. A grandstand will be set up in the start-finish area for spectators who will have the opportunity to accompany and encourage the competitors throughout the day.
The event will be especially honored with a visit to The Legend of the ultramarathon run, the Greek Animatiannis Kouros , after whom the track is named. Kouros competed together with our ultramarathon Dushan Mittet, who left an indelible mark on the world of ultramarathon.

The event is conducted in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and participants are informed about Green guidance on sustainable behaviour.
The event is organized by The Athletic Club S12R from Kranj, and co-organized by the Institute for Culture and tourism Kranj, with the support of the City Municipality of Kranj and The Athletic Association of Slovenia (AZS).
SLO12RUN je tekma na 12 in 6 ur, ki poteka po središču Kranja, v krogu dolgem 1.250 metrov. V štartno-ciljnem prostoru bo postavljena tribuna za gledalce, ki bodo imeli priložnost spremljati in spodbujati tekmovalce skozi ves dan.
Posebno čast pa bo prireditev dosegla z obiskom legende ultramaratonskega teka, Grka Yiannisa Kourosa , po katerem je proga tudi poimenovana. Kouros je tekmoval skupaj z našim ultramaratoncem Dušanom Mravljetom, ki je pustil neizbrisen pečat v svetu ultramaratona.

Prireditev organizira Atletski klub S12R iz Kranja, soorganizator pa je Zavod za kulturo in turizem Kranj, s podporo Mestne občine Kranj in Atletske zveze Slovenije (AZS).
