PD Podpec Preserje invites on Sunday, 14.06.2026 all members of the association and other mountaineers to hike to Veliki Sneznik 1796m.
The place of departure of the special transport will be on Sunday at 6. uri-AP Preserje .
We will stop in Podpecja, internal, Vnanje Gorice and Brezovica.
We will drive through Ilirska Bistrica to Sviscak, where we will start our hike at the Mountain Lodge.
From the mountain home 1242m, through the ugly Draga 1172m and the small Snezhnik 1694m, to the top of the Big Snezhnik 1796m, we will need about 2 hours and 30 minutes. In the hut Draga Karolina 1790m, located just a few steps below the top, we will enjoy a vacation and, if desired, refreshment. After about 2 hours of descent, we will board the van at the Mountain Lodge and return home in the afternoon.
The total walking time is about 4-5 hours. The path is varied. We will make about 650 height meters along the route.
The trail is suitable for all hikers .
Mandatory equipment: mountain shoes, dress appropriate for the season ,enough fluid.
The fare will be around 25 EUR

By registering for a hike, the participant confirms that he is familiar with the complexity of the hike and meets the conditions for safe participation in it. He has a paid PZS membership for the current year. It complies with the code of honor of Slovenian mountaineers and must strictly follow the instructions of the guides.
The participant of the hike must have a "personal First Aid Kit" with him

PD Podpeč Preserje vabi v nedeljo, 14.06.2026 vse člane društva in ostale planince na pohod na Veliki Snežnik 1796m.
Mesto odhoda posebnega prevoza bo v nedeljo ob 6. uri - AP Preserje .
Ustavili se bomo še v Podpeči, Notranjih, Vnanjih Goricah in Brezovici.
Peljali se bomo preko Ilirske Bistrice do Sviščakov, kjer bomo pri Planinskem domu začeli naš pohod.
Od Planinskega doma 1242m, preko Grde drage 1172m in Malega Snežnika 1694m, do vrha Velikega Snežnika 1796m, bomo potrebovali okoli 2 uri in 30 minut. V Koči Draga Karolina 1790m, ki se nahaja le nekaj korakov pod vrhom, si bomo privoščili oddih in po želji tudi okrepčilo. Po cca 2 urah spusta se bomo pri Planinskem domu vkrcali v kombi in se v popoldanskih urah vrnili domov.
Hoje je skupno cca 4 – 5 ur. Pot je razgibana. Naredili bomo cca 650 višinskih metrov po poti.
Pot je primerna za vse pohodnike .
Obvezna oprema : planinski čevlji, obleka primerna letnem času, dovolj tekočine .

Udeleženec pohoda s prijavo za pohod potrdi, da je seznanjen z zahtevnostjo pohoda ter izpolnjuje pogoje za varno sodelovanje na njem. Ima plačano članarino PZS za tekoče leto. Se ravna v skladu s častnim kodeksom slovenskih planincev in mora dosledno upoštevati navodila vodnikov.
