A tour and a special experience
The guided tour begins at the entrance bridge in front of the entrance to the castle. After an introductory greeting and a short presentation, the castle guide will take you through the Castle Avenue to the Plecnik bar, where you will find out, among other things, what plans the master had with the castle and which he also implemented. The path will then lead you through the forest to the castle vineyard, in which as of 2016 1050 vines of white and red varieties of Castle wine thrive. Which they are and why exactly in this place, the guide reveals to you. And when it's just right for history and art, it will be time to disconnect in the green oasis above the city: then you will sit comfortably and serve yourself local delicacies from the picnic basket and toast with Castle wine.
After a pleasant break, the guide will take you back to the castle. The guided tour ends in the courtyard, next to the castle Vine, the descendant of the oldest in the world – the one from Maribor lent.
A picnic for two or with friends ... the decision is yours. Just get comfortable with your clothes and shoes and join us for a slightly different experience, cultural and historical and culinary at the same time.
The castle picnic basket contains: meats, cheese, butter, Pate, herbal curd, seasonal salad, bread, seasonal fruit, dessert, lemonade and water, as well as Castle wine.

* The culinary and Wine Experience will be carried out in case of a sufficient number of registered participants.
It is possible to purchase a ticket no later than 48 hours before the selected date.
In case of bad weather or insufficient number of participants, the culinary and Wine Experience is canceled.
The applicants will be notified of the cancellation of the appointment by telephone message. Money for purchased tickets is returned.

Potek ogleda in posebnega doživetja
Vodeni ogled se začne na vstopnem mostu pred vhodom v grad. Grajski vodnik vas bo po uvodnem pozdravu in kratki predstavitvi popeljal skozi grajski drevored do Plečnikovih Šanc, kjer boste med drugim izvedeli, kakšne načrte je imel mojster z gradom in katere je tudi udejanil. Pot vas bo nato skozi gozd pripeljala do Grajskega vinograda, v katerem od leta 2016 uspeva 1050 trt bele in rdeče sorte grajskega vina. Kateri sta in zakaj prav na tem mestu, vam razkrije vodnik. In ko bo ravno prav zgodovine in umetnosti, bo čas za odklop v zeleni oazi nad mestom: takrat se boste udobno namestili in si postregli z lokalnimi dobrotami iz košare za piknik ter nazdravili z grajskim vinom.
Po prijetnem oddihu vas bo vodnik popeljal nazaj do gradu. Vodeni ogled se zaključi na dvorišču, ob grajski trti, potomki najstarejše na svetu – tiste z mariborskega Lenta.
Piknik v dvoje ali s prijatelji … odločitev je vaša. Le udobno se oblecite in obujte in se nam pridružite na nekoliko drugačnem doživetju, kulturno-zgodovinskem in kulinaričnem obenem.
Grajska piknik košara vsebuje: mesnine, sir, maslo, pašteto, zeliščno skuto, sezonsko solato, kruh, sezonsko sadje, sladico, limonado in vodo ter grajsko vino.

* Kulinarično-vinsko doživetje bomo izvedli v primeru zadostnega števila prijavljenih udeležencev.
Nakup vstopnice je možen najkasneje 48 ur pred izbranim terminom.
V primeru slabega vremena ali premajhnega števila udeležencev, kulinarično-vinsko doživetje odpade.
O odpovedi termina bodo prijavljeni obveščeni s telefonskim sporočilom. Denar za kupljene vstopnice vrnemo.
