Opening of the exhibition SUHA+
We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition of the SUHA+ collection of kitchen and table products, which will take place on the 14th. in May at 19.00 at the urban center in Ribnica.
In the 18-month project SUHA+, partners from all over the region from Kolpa River to Turjak, under the creative direction of renowned designer Jozica Brodaric, developed a collection of wooden, pottery and textile products for the kitchen and home, which reinterprets the cultural heritage of traditional dry goods in a modern way.
The collection combines the best that our region has to offer-we were inspired by embroidery motifs from Osilnica and Kostel, we used Gottschee wood and rich knowledge of crafts from Ribnica and Sodrjica. This is how products were created that clearly show that dry goods can be brought into modernity and made interesting for new generations of users.
The partners of the project are the festival of wood, the Gottschee Wood, the Center for youth culture of Gottschee, the Ribnica handicraft center and the municipality of Sodrazica. The project was created as part of a call for proposals by a Local Action Group and is co-financed by the European Union.
The exhibition will be on display until 24. May, at least a day between 7. and 22. an hour. Admission is free.

Otvoritev razstave SUHA+
Vljudno vas vabimo na otvoritev razstave kolekcije kuhinjskih in namiznih izdelkov SUHA+, ki bo 14. maja ob 19.00 v Urban centru v Ribnici.
V 18-mesečnem projektu SUHA+ smo partnerji iz celotne regije od Kolpe do Turjaka pod kreativno taktirko priznane oblikovalke Jožice Brodarič razvili kolekcijo lesenih, lončarskih in tekstilnih izdelkov za kuhinjo in dom, ki na sodoben način reinterpretira kulturno dediščino tradicionalne suhe robe.
V kolekciji je združeno najboljše, kar naša regija ponuja – inspirirali so nas motivi vezenja iz Osilnice in Kostela, uporabili smo kočevski les ter bogato znanje obrti iz Ribnice in Sodražice. Tako so nastali izdelki, ki jasno kažejo, da se suho robo da pripeljati v sodobnost in jo narediti zanimivo za nove generacije uporabnikov.
Partnerji projekta so Festival lesa, Kočevski les, Center za mladinsko kulturo Kočevje, Rokodelski center Ribnica in Občina Sodražica. Projekt je nastal v sklopu razpisa Lokalne akcijske skupine ter ga sofinancira Evropska unija.
Razstava bo na ogled do 24. maja, vsaj dan med 7. in 22. uro. Vstop je prost.
