Wednesday, 15. in April 2026, at 17.00, we invite you to the opening of the photo exhibition young volunteers in Brezice, which will take place as part of the event nothing about young people without young people.
The exhibition presents young volunteers from various associations and organizations in Brezice and through a photographic lens illuminates their dedication, energy, heart and important contribution to the local community. These are portraits of young people who, through their work, initiatives and presence, co-create a more connected, active and solidarity environment.
The author of the exhibition is Anej Rozman , a young creator and photographer who also works as a student at the Youth Center Brezice. He is active in photography, filming, editing and visual design. For the exhibition young volunteers in Brezice, he photographed young volunteers from various associations and organizations in Brezice through his lens, and with their portraits emphasized the importance of volunteering and the role of young people in the local community.
Volunteering among young people is of paramount importance as it promotes solidarity, responsibility, cooperation and a sense of belonging. It enables young people to acquire new knowledge, experience and competences, while opening up space for them to actively participate in society. Through volunteering, young people not only help others, but also grow personally, strengthen self-confidence and develop important skills for the future.
The exhibition was created as part of the project with youth work against the precariousness of young people , in the framework of which the youth center Brezice addresses the topics of youth, work, rights and inclusion in society. Volunteering is often the first place where young people gain experience, develop competencies and build their way forward. At the same time, it is important to stress that volunteering can only be a real tool against precariousness when it enables young people to support, learn, recognise their work and have concrete opportunities for further development.

V sredo, 15. aprila 2026, ob 17.00, vas v Mladinskem centru Brežice vabimo na otvoritev fotografske razstave Mladi prostovoljci v Brežicah, ki bo potekala v sklopu dogodka Nič o mladih brez mladih.
Razstava predstavlja mlade prostovoljce iz različnih društev in organizacij v Brežicah ter skozi fotografski objektiv osvetljuje njihovo predanost, energijo, srčnost in pomemben prispevek k lokalni skupnosti. Gre za portrete mladih, ki s svojim delom, pobudami in prisotnostjo soustvarjajo bolj povezano, aktivno in solidarno okolje.
Avtor razstave je Anej Rožman , mladi ustvarjalec in fotograf, ki deluje tudi kot študent v Mladinskem centru Brežice. Aktiven je na področju fotografije, snemanja, montaže in vizualnega oblikovanja. Za razstavo Mladi prostovoljci v Brežicah je skozi svoj objektiv fotografiral mlade prostovoljce iz različnih društev in organizacij v Brežicah ter z njihovimi portreti poudaril pomen prostovoljstva in vlogo mladih v lokalni skupnosti.
Prostovoljstvo med mladimi ima izjemen pomen, saj spodbuja solidarnost, odgovornost, sodelovanje in občutek pripadnosti. Mladim omogoča pridobivanje novih znanj, izkušenj in kompetenc, hkrati pa jim odpira prostor za aktivno vključevanje v družbo. S prostovoljskim delom mladi ne pomagajo le drugim, temveč rastejo tudi osebnostno, krepijo samozavest ter razvijajo pomembne veščine za prihodnost.
Razstava je nastala v sklopu projekta Z mladinskim delom proti prekarnosti mladih , v okviru katerega v Mladinskem centru Brežice naslavljamo teme mladih, dela, pravic in vključevanja v družbo. Prostovoljstvo je pogosto prvi prostor, kjer mladi pridobivajo izkušnje, razvijajo kompetence in gradijo svojo pot naprej. Ob tem pa je pomembno poudariti, da je lahko prostovoljstvo resnično orodje proti prekarnosti le takrat, ko mladim omogoča podporo, učenje, priznanje njihovega dela in konkretne možnosti za nadaljnji razvoj.
