Thursday, 18. in June, at 18.00, you are invited to the double opening of the exhibitions, which will connect two different but related artistic speeches – a photographic exploration of personal and social stories and a visual dialogue with poetry and the time we live in.
We will start the evening in the gallery Janez Puhar-Skrlovec Tower with the final exhibition of female students and students photos VIST: in search of stories . The exhibition brings together 3 student projects. vintage photographs that explore personal stories, memory, relationships, space, and social change through various photographic approaches. The works presented include analog photography, archival materials, a large-format camera, a book, and contemporary approaches in which the medium often becomes part of the narrative mode itself.
After the opening in the Skrlovec Tower follows the opening of the exhibition manure = gold by the artist Andrej Shtular in the gallery of La Amuter's House . The exhibition presents an artistic interpretation of Kosovel's works and establishes a dialogue with Kosovel's poetry through drawing, collage, photography and read-made objects. The exhibition is also accompanied by the book sharp rhythms , published by Forum Ljubljana.
The double opening connects two exhibition sites and two different author's approaches – a group presentation of young photographic practices and a solo exhibition by Andrej Shtular.
V četrtek, 18. junija, ob 18.00 vabljeni na dvojno otvoritev razstav, ki bo povezala dve različni, a sorodni umetniški govorici – fotografsko raziskovanje osebnih in družbenih zgodb ter vizualni dialog s poezijo in časom, v katerem živimo.
Večer bomo začeli v Galeriji Janeza Puharja – Stolp Škrlovec z zaključno razstavo študentk in študentov fotografije VIST: V iskanju zgodb . Razstava združuje projekte študentov 3. letnika fotografije, ki skozi različne fotografske pristope raziskujejo osebne zgodbe, spomin, odnose, prostor in družbene spremembe. Predstavljena dela vključujejo analogno fotografijo, arhivske materiale, velikoformatno kamero, knjigo in sodobne pristope, pri katerih medij pogosto postane del samega načina pripovedovanja.
Po otvoritvi v Stolpu Škrlovec sledi odprtje razstave gnoj = zlato umetnika Andreja Štularja v Galeriji Layerjeve hiše . Razstava predstavlja likovno interpretacijo del Srečka Kosovela ter skozi risbo, kolaž, fotografijo in ready-made objekte vzpostavlja dialog s Kosovelovo poezijo. Razstavo spremlja tudi knjiga Ostri ritmi , izdana pri Forum Ljubljana.
Dvojna otvoritev povezuje dve razstavišči in dva različna avtorska pristopa – skupinsko predstavitev mladih fotografskih praks ter samostojno razstavo Andreja Štularja.
