Ahead is the new season of the adult reading badge, with which librarians and readers enter summer time. Books collected in recommendation list 18. Reading badges for adults will be presented in the garden of the library of Lasko (in case of bad weather in the event area), followed by a solo concert by virtuoso guitarist Mihael Khrustelj.
Mihael Khrustelj (1991) is considered one of the best Slovenian guitar masters. He is engaged in exploring the sound of classical guitar and combining classical music with jazz, progressive rock and traditional music.
His special way of creating and using South Slavic musical heritage make him recognizable both at home and abroad. He lived in the Netherlands for ten years, where he also studied and graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory.
He has released seven solo albums. He recently returned to Slovenia – he was called back by the rich nature and just such cultural, especially musical, heritage. His music studio is now located in the countryside. He has performed as a soloist with many orchestras, including the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra. His compositions and arrangements resonate as part of the repertoire of big bands, choirs and various orchestras on the most prestigious stages at home and around the world.

Pred nami je nova sezona Bralne značke za odrasle, s katero knjižničarji in bralci vstopajo v poletni čas. Knjige, zbrane na priporočilnem seznamu 18. Bralne značke za odrasle, bodo predstavili na vrtu Knjižnice Laško (v primeru slabega vremena v prireditvenem prostoru), temu pa bo sledil samostojen solistični koncert virtuoza kitarista Mihaela Hrustelja.
Mihael Hrustelj (1991) velja za enega najboljših slovenskih mojstrov kitare. Ukvarja se z raziskovanjem zvoka klasične kitare ter s kombiniranjem klasične glasbe z džezom, progresivnim rokom in tradicionalno glasbo.
Njegov poseben način ustvarjanja in uporaba južno-slovanske glasbene dediščine ga delata prepoznavnega tako doma kot tudi v tujini. Deset let je živel na Nizozemskem, kjer je tudi študiral in diplomiral na Konservatoriju v Rotterdamu.
Izdal je sedem solističnih albumov. Pred kratkim se je vrnil v Slovenijo – nazaj sta ga poklicali bogata narava in prav taka kulturna, zlasti glasbena, dediščina. Njegov glasbeni studio se zdaj nahaja na podeželju. Kot solist je nastopil s številnimi orkestri, med drugim tudi s simfoničnim orkestrom RTV Slovenija. Njegove kompozicije in aranžmaji pa odzvanjajo kot del repertoarja big bandov, pevskih zborov in raznih orkestrov na najbolj prestižnih odrih doma in po svetu.
