The Film was directed by Jan-Ole Gerster, as well as co-scripted with Blaise Kutin and La Animatrie Doran.

Story
Tom is a tennis coach at a prestigious Island Hotel, and he shortens the hours between lessons with alcohol and one-night stands. The arrival of the Maguire family interrupts his usual routine and he becomes close to Anne, her husband Dave, and their son Anton. However, there is no way Tom can get rid of the feeling that he has met Anne before. Tensions between the two grow until one night Dave disappears and Anne and Tom are the main suspects in a police investigation.

"The Film takes place on an island. It's more about people who live side by side, but are separated from each other, lonely, alone ... although two of them are married. The original title was meant to be a tourist because I liked how it fit into all the characters in the film. Everyone is leaving the safe environment and temporary everyday life. Unfortunately, there were too many films with the same title. Later, I noticed that the shots of the characters I liked contained an element of loneliness, which I really admire in the paintings of Ed Animatard Hopper. Of course, this is not Hopper. But loneliness and disconnection reminded me little of Hopper.«

Film je režiral Jan-Ole Gerster, kot tudi napisal scenarij skupaj z Blažem Kutinom in Lawrie Doran.

Zgodba
Tom je trener tenisa v prestižnem otoškem hotelu, ure med lekcijami pa si krajša z alkoholom in avanturami za eno noč. Prihod družine Maguire prekine njegovo običajno rutino in zbliža se z Anne, njenim možem Davom in njunim sinom Antonom. Vendar pa se Tom nikakor ne more znebiti občutka, da je Anne že nekoč srečal. Napetost med njima narašča, dokler neke noči Dave izgine in sta v policijski preiskavi glavna osumljenca Anne in Tom.

»Film se dogaja na otoku. Gre bolj za ljudi, ki živijo drug ob drugem, a so med seboj ločeni, osamljeni, sami … čeprav sta dva od njih poročena. Prvotni naslov je bil mišljen Turist , ker mi je bilo všeč, kako se je to ujemalo z vsemi liki v filmu. Vsi zapuščajo varno okolje in začasno vsakdanje življenje. Na žalost je bilo preveč filmov z istim naslovom. Kasneje sem opazil, da so posnetki likov, ki so mi bili všeč, vsebovali element osamljenosti, ki ga resnično občudujem v slikah Edwarda Hopperja. Seveda to ni Hopper. Toda osamljenost in nepovezanost sta me malo spominjali na Hopperja.«
