The exhibition of the painting in the kostanjevica monastery allows visitors to experience a gloomy space in which colors glow when deepened. It urges viewers to contemplate and invites them to be alone with the light of space. The clouding of images, which the author deprived of virtually all materiality, revealed images in their primality – as a phenomenon of pure color and as a desire to achieve the essence of being. As the space sinks into the evening gloom, the glow of color also intensifies, revealing "a veiled beauty with an image on it," as the mystic of 5 wrote. and 6. century. Then the color glow is drowned in darkness. "To disappear like light," reads the painter's own comment.

Razstava Slike v kostanjeviškem samostanu omogoča obiskovalcem izkušnjo mrakobnega prostora, v katerem ob poglobljenem motrenju zažarijo barve. Gledalce nagovarja h kontemplaciji in jih vabi, da ostanejo sami s svetlobo prostora. Motrenje podob, ki jim je avtor odvzel tako rekoč vso snovnost, razodene slike v njihovi prvinskosti – kot pojav čiste barve in kot željo po doseganju esence bivanja. Ko se prostor utaplja v večerni mrak, se stopnjuje tudi barvni žar in razkriva »zakrito lepoto sámo na sebi,« kakor je zapisal mistik iz 5. in 6. stoletja. Nato se barvni sij utopi v temo. »Izginiti kot svetloba,« se glasi slikarjev lastni komentar.
