The first confrontations this year mean an original and unusual synthesis of the lecture by St. Nicholas Komelj and the messages of Simon Gregorcic's poetry in a dialogue with the live music of Lada Jaksa on various acoustic and electronic instruments and his photofilm interpretation of the content. In one of his late poems, gregorcic wrote that the prophet and the poet are twins – and he admitted that he identifies with both. This evening will be devoted to exploring what this double identification of Gregorcic means and what is the specific sacredness of his relationship to the world; special attention will be paid to some of Gregorcic's most emblematic poems and verses that are little known, while Komelj and Jaksa will also touch, among other things, on the connection with the spiritual tradition of the places from which Gregorcic came, and the reception of Gregorcic in the partisan revolution. In the Multivision, Lado Jaksa follows Gregorcic's steps with a camera, discovering the special views of Posochina and the magical spaces of the Old Believers and resonating them with his musical instruments.
Prva Soočanja v letošnjem letu pomenijo izvirno in nenavadno sintezo predavanja Miklavža Komelja in sporočil poezije Simona Gregorčiča v dialogu z živo izvajano avtorsko glasbo Lada Jakše na različnih akustičnih in elektronskih instrumentih ter njegovo fotofilmsko interpretacijo vsebine. Gregorčič je v eni od svojih poznih pesmi napisal, da sta prerok in pesnik dvojčka – in priznal je, da se z obema identificira. Ta večer bo namenjen raziskovanju, kaj pomeni ta Gregorčičeva dvojna identifikacija in v čem je specifična sakralnost njegovega odnosa do sveta; pri tem bo posebna pozornost namenjena tako nekaterim Gregorčičevim najbolj emblematičnim pesmim kot verzom, ki so malo znani, Komelj in Jakša pa se bosta med drugim dotaknila tudi povezave z duhovno tradicijo krajev, iz katerih je Gregorčič izšel, in recepcije Gregorčiča v partizanski revoluciji. V multiviziji Lado Jakša s kamero sledi Gregorčičevom korakom, odkriva posebne poglede Posočja in magične prostore Starovercev ter jih odzvanja s svojimi glasbili.
