Happ / ol ' MC / Amakteasel is a folk punk rock band that has been impressing for over 16 years with its unforgettable, unsurpassed SHUs repertoire. From their Slovenian-Irish roots grew a full-blooded folk punk rock band with an excellent concert renome and unique original music. To date, the band has released fifteen singles, thirteen music videos and three studio albums. The debut 'No offense ‘(2012) first ruined Maribor's bars and clubs and slowly quenched his thirst for Slovenia, his successor' Heard / heard / sa/!'(2015), which took the high-flying group definitively to stages across Europe. In 2023, they released their third ‘Such is Life’: stylistically recognizable, Vizlov, but at the same time full of freshness, new musical territories and challenges, it brings 13 tracks, including ‘Last Good Chance’, ‘Micke / lad’, ‘see / tomorro/’, ‘Break Them Bones’ and ‘100 / Animears’. Happy Ol’ McWeasel je folk punk rock band, ki s svojim nepozabnim, neprekosljivim šus repertoarjem navdušuje že več kot 16 let. Iz njihovih slovensko – irskih korenin je zrastel polnokrvni folk punk rock sestav z izvrstnim koncertnim renomejem in unikatno avtorsko glasbo. Do danes je skupina izdala petnajst singlov, trinajst videospotov in tri studijske albume. Prvenec ‘No Offence’ (2012) je najprej zmuziciral mariborske šanke in klube ter zlagoma odžejal Slovenijo, njegov naslednik ‘Heard Ya Say!’ (2015), ki je visokoleteče ponesel skupino dokončno tudi na odre po Evropi. V letu 2023 so izdali tretjega ‘Such is Life’: stilsko prepoznaven, Vizlovski, a hkrati poln svežine, novih glasbenih teritorijev in izzivov, prinaša 13 skladb, med njimi ‘Last Good Chance’, ‘Mickey Lad’, ‘See You Tomorrow’, ‘Break Them Bones’ in ‘100 Years’. Prva dva albuma je za japonski trg izdala glasbeno trgovinska hiša The Tower Records in založba Uncle Owen Records Utd, leta 2014 je hollywoodski studio Century Fox za CBSovo TV serijo The Crazy Ones, z Robinom Williamsom in Sarah Michelle Gellar, kot soundtrack uporabil njihovo priredbo tradicionalne irske pesmi Danny Boy, slednja pa je leta 2023 na voljo tudi znotraj videoigre Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Warzone 2.0 in Warzone mobile z milijoni igralcev po svetu. Mogoče še večji artistični fenomen pa so njihovi videospoti. Smešni? Ne. Za zjokat smešni! Happy Ol’ McWeasel so do sedaj bili štirikrat izbrani (Good Deeds, Away, Last Good Chance, 100 Years) in skupaj devetkrat nominirani za Popevko tedna na Valu 202. Kaj pa koncerti? Vizli, kot jim radi rečemo, so si mesto med največjimi bandi folk punk rock žanra izborili že pred leti z odmevnimi koncerti in festivalskimi nastopi po Evropi s svojim epskimi, prekleto nepozabnimi, neprekosljivimi šus koncerti, ki pustijo trajni vtis. Kar se je začelo od ust do ust, od šanka do ulice, od koncerta do turneje je položilo trdne temelje, na katerih Happy Ol’ McWeasel gradijo svoje nadaljnje uspehe in zmage. Bi akrobacije? Imajo.
