Together with its predecessors, the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra boasts a rich tradition, which makes it one of the oldest institutions of its kind in Europe. Its roots go back to 1701, when the Academia Philharmonicorum was founded. Her work was continued by the Philharmonic Society, which set as its main goal the performance of instrumental music, thereby outlining the guidelines of the modern symphony orchestra. It came to life in 1947, when the Slovenian Philharmonic was founded.
On the big stage, the young trumpeter Urska Roser will join the Philharmonic this time as a soloist . At international and national competitions, the multi-award-winning musician, who works as a soloist or chamber musician with numerous domestic and foreign orchestras and chamber ensembles both at home and abroad, is highly appreciated for her technical sovereignty, dazzling tone and maturity of interpretation.
Together the musicians will perform under the tutelage of Vipavka Mojca Lavrencic . In February 2026, one of the most outstanding Slovenian conductors of the younger generation achieved outstanding success at the prestigious international conductor competition La Maestra in Paris, where she became the absolute winner and received five special awards. She is distinguished by convincing interpretive power and versatile creative curiosity. Although she devotes herself with the same passionate precision to compositions from baroque to contemporary music, for the January subscription concert she chose a program full of narrative and emotional depth typical of the transition from classicism to Romanticism.

Orkester Slovenske filharmonije se lahko skupaj s svojimi predhodnicami pohvali z bogato tradicijo, kar ga uvršča med najstarejše tovrstne institucije v Evropi. Njegove korenine segajo v leto 1701, ko je bila ustanovljena Academia Philharmonicorum. Njeno delo je nadaljevala Filharmonična družba, ki si je kot glavni cilj zadala izvajanje instrumentalne glasbe, s čimer so bile začrtane smernice sodobnega simfoničnega orkestra. Ta je z vso polnostjo zaživel leta 1947, ko je bila ustanovljena Slovenska filharmonija.
Na velikem odru se bo filharmonikom tokrat kot solistka pridružila mlada trobentačica Urška Rošer . Na mednarodnih in državnih tekmovanjih večkrat nagrajena glasbenica, ki kot solistka ali komorna glasbenica sodeluje s številnimi domačimi in tujimi orkestri ter komornimi ansambli tako doma kot v tujini, je zelo cenjena zaradi tehnične suverenosti, bleščečega tona in zrelosti interpretacije.
Skupaj bodo glasbeniki nastopili pod taktirko Vipavke Mojce Lavrenčič . Ena najizrazitejših slovenskih dirigentk mlajše generacije je februarja 2026 dosegla izjemen uspeh na prestižnem mednarodnem dirigentskem tekmovanju za dirigente La Maestra v Parizu, kjer je postala absolutna zmagovalka ter ob tem prejela še pet posebnih priznanj. Odlikuje jo prepričljiva interpretativna moč in vsestranska ustvarjalna radovednost. Čeprav se z enako strastno natančnostjo posveča skladbam od baroka do sodobne glasbe, je za januarski abonmajski koncert izbrala program, poln pripovednosti in čustvene globine, značilne za prehod iz klasicizma v romantizem.
