Triple artistic presentation of the Zavrstnik family
You are invited to a special cultural evening, where word, image and color will be intertwined. The event brings a presentation of the book reflection of the writer Mark Zavrshnik, as well as an insight into the artistic creation of two of his loved ones: an exhibition of illustrations by his wife Jadranka Zavrshnik and a painting exhibition by his father, artist Tomaz Zavrshnik – Foma.
The novel reflection is Mark's debut and reveals an interesting love story, the interweaving of the present and 12. for centuries, it explores the intimate layers of human nature and relation to the world, while Jadranka Zavrstnik's illustrations with subtle expressiveness complement the stories with their own visual narrative. The works of Tomaz Zavrshnik-Foma reflect a long-standing artistic path and an in-depth understanding of artistic language.
The event brings together three artistic expressions-literature, illustration and painting – and offers a unique insight into the creative power of a single family, but known primarily through music.
Trojna umetniška predstavitev družine Završnik
Vabljeni na poseben kulturni večer, kjer se bodo prepletli beseda, podoba in barva. Dogodek prinaša predstavitev knjige Odsev pisatelja Marka Završnika, obenem pa tudi vpogled v umetniško ustvarjanje dveh njegovih najbližjih: razstavo ilustracij njegove žene Jadranke Završnik ter slikarsko razstavo njegovega očeta, umetnika Tomaža Završnika – Fome.
Roman Odsev je Markov prvenec in razkriva zanimivo ljubezensko zgodbo, preplet sedanjosti in 12. stoletja, raziskuje intimne plasti človeške narave in odnosa do sveta, medtem ko ilustracije Jadranke Završnik s subtilno izraznostjo dopolnjujejo zgodbe z lastno vizualno pripovedjo. Dela Tomaža Završnika – Fome pa odražajo dolgoletno umetniško pot in poglobljeno razumevanje likovne govorice.
Dogodek združuje tri umetniške izraze – literaturo, ilustracijo in slikarstvo – ter ponuja edinstven vpogled v ustvarjalno moč ene same družine, ki pa jo poznamo predvsem po glasbi.
