The transformation of space fascinates and amazes me every time. When the old gives way to the new, I feel a kind of nostalgia for the time that passes, and at the same time I enthusiastically follow the birth of the new. This was the case at the railway station in Zagorje ob Savi. I am grateful for this privilege, when I was able to follow all the stages of the construction of this wonderful creation of human hands, which is the pride of our city.
Photos of earlier times remain, and the memory of old stories is preserved in the heart forever.

The set of photographs was taken on a visit to the Shetland Islands during the festival Up Hell 6 Aa - Fire Festival in 2020, shortly before the start of the pandemic. Up Hell / Aa is one of the most iconic local events that brings together tradition and community on the islands. The photographs do not follow the documentary record of the event, but record the atmosphere of space and people: light, movement, atmosphere and a sense of community.

Vabljeni na odprtje razstave, posvečene ženski fotografiji. 4 ZGODBE so pogled avtoric na sodobni svet, na njegove pozitivne in negativne plati. Pomembno je poudariti, da je vsaka izmed zgodb samostojna celota in popolnoma drugačna od drugih. Vsekakor pa je to fotografska izkušnja, ki je ne smete zamuditi.

Transformacija prostora me vsakič znova očara in osupne. Ko se staro umika novemu, občutim nekakšno nostalgijo po času, ki mineva, hkrati pa navdušeno spremljam rojevanje novega. Tako je bilo na železniški postaji v Zagorju ob Savi. Hvaležna sem za ta privilegij, ko sem lahko spremljala vse faze izgradnje te čudovite stvaritve človeških rok, ki je ponos našega mesta.

Sklop fotografij je nastal ob obisku Shetlandskih otokov v času festivala Up Helly Aa - festivala ognja leta 2020, tik pred začetkom pandemije. Up Helly Aa je eden najznačilnejših lokalnih dogodkov,ki združuje tradicijo in skupnost na otokih. Fotografije ne sledijo dokumentarnemu zapisu dogodka, temveč beležijo vzdušje prostora in ljudi: svetlobo, gibanje, atmosfero in občutek skupnosti.

Serija črno-belih fotografij Prebujenja raziskuje intimno pot notranjega prebujenja in poti iz okvirjev v odprtost. Skozi življenjske preizkušnje in drobne trenutke svetlobe rastemo, se odpiramo ter postopoma postajamo bolj pristna, zavestna različica sebe. Serija je nastajala počasi, iz podob, ki so se skoraj naključno nizale v celoto.
