For years, the Amadeus Chamber Music Association has been working towards intergenerational networking in chamber music, where younger musicians collaborate with more experienced colleagues. This unwritten rule of chamber music-to invite a musician who surpasses you in experience and knowledge – is also passed on to the entire young and middle generation of professional musicians. Since 2023, students of the Maribor Conservatory of music and ballet have also participated in the Echo of summer festival, thus providing them with invaluable experience of participating in a professional musical environment.
The young colleagues concert will also take place in this spirit. This year, oboist Monika Trilar Babic and bassoonist radula Vuk Popovi, a member of the SNG Maribor Symphony Orchestra, will take part in the role of mentors. The ensemble includes students of the Maribor Conservatory of music and ballet, flutist Nusa Pongrac and hornist Katarina Simonic, and a student of the Academy of music in Ljubljana, clarinetist Manca Rozmaric.
Young, but already experienced musicians will perform selected works for the wind quintet of composers Franz Danzi, Jac Alucues Iberto and D Alucnes Aga Aluca, as well as arrangements of famous classical works. The Program intertwines the classic spirit with a modern sound and is sure to delight both connoisseurs and a wider audience.

Društvo za komorno glasbo Amadeus si že leta prizadeva za medgeneracijsko povezovanje v komorni glasbi, kjer mlajši glasbeniki sodelujejo z bolj izkušenimi kolegi. To nenapisano pravilo komornega muziciranja – da k sodelovanju povabiš glasbenika, ki te presega v izkušnjah in znanju – prenašamo tudi na celotno mlado in srednjo generacijo profesionalnih glasbenikov. Od leta 2023 sodelujejo v poletnem festivalu Odmev poletja tudi dijaki Konservatorija za glasbo in balet Maribor, s čimer jim omogočamo neprecenljive izkušnje sodelovanja v profesionalnem glasbenem okolju.
V tem duhu bo potekal tudi koncert Mladi kolegi. Letos bosta v vlogi mentorjev sodelovala oboistka Monika Trilar Babič in fagotist Radule Vuk Popović, člana Simfoničnega orkestra SNG Maribor. V zasedbi nastopata dijaka Konservatorija za glasbo in balet Maribor, flavtistka Nuša Pongrac in hornistka Katarina Simonič, ter študentka Akademije za glasbo v Ljubljani, klarinetistka Manca Rozmarič.
Mladi, a že izkušeni glasbeniki bodo izvedli izbrana dela za pihalni kvintet skladateljev Franza Danzija, Jacquesa Iberta in Dénesa Agaya, pa tudi priredbe znanih klasičnih del. Program prepleta klasični duh s sodobnim zvenom in bo zagotovo navdušil tako poznavalce kot širše občinstvo.
