The Program talks about foreboding and prediction. About multi-media practices whose artistic expression and display format is video. About the relationship between video, performance and media images. About the production situation in the Slovenian space in the Seventies with access to advanced audiovisual technology on national television on the one hand (Miha Vipotnik) and on the other, in the eighties, when it is possible to handle basic video equipment within the framework of the Ljubljana alternative scene (the other three authors). The programme also shows the alternative and subcultural scene in Slovenia with numerous social movements and images. But it can also be seen as a declaration of war – a war that has been present as a premonition in the works of artists since at least 1980, since the death of comrade Tito, the Yugoslav President.

Faster Yugoslavia 1969-1990 is a research project by the team (Adam Lochart, Laura Leuzzi, and May Zećo has Jon Blackwood. It is a collaboration of the Gra. F. C.'s School of Art (Robert Gordon University of Art), and the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (University of Art of Dundee). The project, which explores video art in Yugoslavia, is based on field work and primary sources: acquaintance with the material (also in some rare archives, such as the Diva station) and interviews with artists and cultural workers who were directly involved in the production, discussion and presentation of video art in the period under consideration. As part of the project, which runs until 2027, they plan to create a database and publications, as well as a program of presentations, an international symposium and round tables.

Videogram vojne napovedi. Video umetnost v Sloveniji (1970–1990)
Kuratorka: Barbara Borčić
Program govori o slutnji in napovedi.

Gre za sodelovanje Gray’s School of Art (Robert Gordon University), in Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (University of Dundee).
