Every year the Novi dijak Student Association organizes a literary and performative evening spektra, and this year the evening was given an umbrella theme souvenirs:
"With this year's theme of the evening of souvenirs, we immerse ourselves in the spiritual depths of the past; on the wings of literature and performance, escaping conventional classifications and turning our attention to the community, to the Hegelian we, to the search for ourselves beyond the framework of the present. Who and what are we without the past?”
The new student is a Student Collective designed to encourage the creation of high school students, and a safe space for expression and reflection on the world, which manifests itself through events and a magazine published once a year. The magazine publishes personal reflections, interviews, author's poetry, illustrations, photographs and other creations of collective members and other students.

Dijaško društvo Novi dijak vsako leto organizira literarno-performativni večer Spekter, letos pa so večeru nadeli krovno temo spominki:
“Z letošnjo krovno temo večera spominki se potopimo v duhovne globočine preteklosti; na krilih literature in performansa, ki uhaja konvencionalnim klasifikacijam in se usmerimo v skupnost, v heglovski mi, v iskanje samega sebe onkraj okvirjev sedanjosti. Kdo in kaj smo brez preteklosti?”
Novi dijak je dijaški kolektiv, ki je namenjen spodbujanju ustvarjanja srednješolcev, in varen prostor za izražanje in refleksijo na svet, kar se manifestira skozi dogodke in revijo, ki izide enkrat na leto. V reviji objavljajo osebne refleksije, intervjuje, avtorsko poezijo, ilustracije, fotografije in druge stvaritve članov kolektiva in drugih dijakov.
