Dear fans of sacred music!
When we started a new concert subscription five years ago and called it sacral subscription, we repeatedly heard concerns that there are already too many concerts in Ljubljana, and the halls are increasingly empty. Nevertheless, with perseverance and a clear vision, we succeeded and now we see that these concerts were still welcome and necessary. This is primarily demonstrated by you, a respected audience. The desire to introduce sacred music of all eras and styles into this space and to carefully blend it with the spiritual message of the church year proved to be something that can be relevant even today. Awareness of tradition and drawing from it can bring progress that can persist over time.
This season, the Ursuline church will feature excellent singing ensembles and offer music from spiritually rich Gregorian chant to the more expressively infused music of contemporary composers. We will be presented with top choirs, from the newer Choir decor, which consists of long-standing choir singers and singers from all over Slovenia, through the Megaron choir , which brings together former students of the Diocesan classical gymnasium under its auspices, to the established apz Tone Tomsic . The solo concert will feature tenor Aco Bischevi//, who made his way to the Salzburg Mozarteum, and will be accompanied and complemented by Tilen Bajec on the recently restored gorsic organ . With the Christmas program, this time the Aurora Girls Choir will delight . Benjamin Brittn, an English composer, was inspired by a collection of poems reflecting the medieval relationship to God, the world and man. After a few years, we will listen again to the Gregorian chant performed by the choral choir of the Academy of music under the direction of Prof. Tons Of Streamers. With an innovative approach, under the auspices of the Musica singing school , Robert Fegus brings together singers from all over Slovenia, who will be presented to us in February. Also this year , the orchestra will feature the choir Consortium musicum, this time with a cantata and Magnificat by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Spoštovani ljubitelji sakralne glasbe!
Ko smo pred petimi leti začenjali z novim koncertnim abonmajem in ga poimenovali Sakralni abonma, smo večkrat slišali pomisleke, da je v Ljubljani koncertov že preveč, dvorane pa so vedno bolj prazne. Kljub temu smo z vztrajnostjo in jasno vizijo uspeli in sedaj vidimo, da so bili ti koncerti še kako dobrodošli in potrebni. To dokazujete predvsem vi, cenjeno občinstvo. Želja, v ta prostor vnesti sakralno glasbo vseh obdobij in slogov in jo skrbno preplesti z duhovno sporočilnostjo cerkvenega leta, se je pokazala kot nekaj, kar je lahko aktualno tudi danes. Zavedanje tradicije in črpanje iz nje lahko prinaša napredek, ki more obstati skozi čas.
V tej sezoni bodo v uršulinski cerkvi nastopili odlični pevski sestavi in ponudili glasbo od duhovno bogatega gregorijanskega korala do z večjim izrazom prežete glasbe sodobnih skladateljev. Predstavili se nam bodo vrhunski zbori, od novejšega zbora Dekor , ki ga sestavljajo dolgoletne zborovske pevke in pevci iz vse Slovenije, preko zbora Megaron , ki pod svojim okriljem združuje bivše dijakinje in dijake Škofijske klasične gimnazije, do uveljavljenega APZ Tone Tomšič . Na solističnem koncertu bosta nastopila tenorist Aco Biščević , ki je svojo pot kalil na salzburškem Mozarteumu, na nedavno obnovljenih Goršičevih orglah pa ga bo spremljal in dopolnjeval Tilen Bajec . Z božičnim programom bo tokrat razveselil dekliški zbor Aurora . Angleškega skladatelja Benjamina Brittna je za delo A Ceremony of Carols navdihnila zbirka pesmi, v katerih se odraža srednjeveški odnos do Boga, sveta in človeka. Po nekaj letih bomo ponovno prisluhnili gregorijanskemu koralu v izvedbi Koralnega zbora Akademije za glasbo pod vodstvom prof. Toneta Potočnika. Z inovativnim pristopom, pod okriljem Pevske šole Musica , Robert Feguš združuje pevce iz vse Slovenije, ki se nam bodo predstavili v februarju. Tudi letos pa bo z orkestrom nastopil zbor Consortium musicum , tokrat s kantato in Magnificatom Johanna Sebastiana Bacha.
