On the floor is the stage work of the creators, colleagues and long-time friends Alenka Marinic and Maya Dekleva Lapajna . It is an earthly concert show that in a personal and humorous way reworks the themes of precariousness, feminism, work, motherhood and living in the time of late capitalism. It is a sparkling musical and theatrical event that describes the situation and says the obvious, leaving more than solutions an open space for community questioning, and seeking playfulness in even the darkest and difficult times.
Through musical and theatrical material, the artists play with different themes offered by the phrase “on the floor” . Through the metaphor of the ground, they touch on the themes of exhaustion, despair and hopelessness, the siege on the ground in a time of brutal and escalating capitalism, climate change, the great power of corporations and cuts in the field of social benefits. On the other hand, the ground is also understood as grounding and support on which we can stand firmly and which gives us the possibility of pushing off and, consequently, of resistance. Finally, soil is also the possibility of new life, the Earth from which new ideas and spaces sprout.
On the floor is the second part of the trilogy of performing artists Maya Dekleva Lapajna and Alenka Marinic. In 2017, they entered the show and music album underwater and soon after conceived the trilogy of making together: underwater, on the ground, in the air. They also dream of an epilogue underground, possibly performed by only one of them or occurring without their physical presence in this world.

Alenka Marinic is a graduate philosopher and historian and an independent artist in the field of Performing Arts. As a performer and co-author, she has toured with the collective Narobov at numerous Slovenian and international venues. In 2013, she completed her education at the International School of physical theater Helikos in Florence. Since then, she has collaborated with Justin Durel and Anya Bezlova, with whom she works under the auspices of the Globus H Funcstericus society. As a creator, she works in the field of street, clown and physical theater. The general public knows her from the satirical TV show what's up and as a red-nosed clown.
Maja Dekleva Lapajne is a performer and director from Ljubljana. Her current projects are underwater, a submerged concert performance on precarious life, motherhood and art; along the way, an International Performing Arts Project on the theme of slowing down; 4pla/, a performance by an international band on the theme of sex and sexuality through the prism of feminism; for crknt, an exploration of contemporary clowning and cabaret formats; Silver Gold, a practice where several dance generations meet and Exchange and at the same time create new memories; reworked life, stage and writing practice with Norbert Sven F and love; from water to land, an exploratory-creative process on the way from submerged work underwater to grounded creation on the ground.
Na tleh je odrsko delo ustvarjalk, sodelavk in dolgoletnih prijateljic Alenke Marinič in Maje Dekleva Lapajne . Je zemeljska koncertna predstava, ki na oseben in humoren način predeluje teme prekarstva, feminizma, dela, materinstva in bivanja v času poznega kapitalizma. Je iskriv glasbeno-gledališki dogodek, ki popisuje stanje in izreka očitno, bolj kot rešitve pušča odprt prostor za skupnostno izpraševanje, ter išče igrivost v še tako temačnih in težkih časih.
Ustvarjalki se preko glasbeno-gledališkega materiala poigravata z različnimi temami, ki jih ponuja besedna zveza “na tleh” . Preko prispodobe tal se dotikata tem izčrpanosti, obupa in brezizhodnosti, obležanja na tleh v času brutalnega in stopnjujočega kapitalizma, podnebnih sprememb, vele moči korporacij in rezov na področju socialnih ugodnosti. Po drugi strani pa tla razumeta tudi kot prizemljenost in oporo, na kateri lahko trdno stojimo in nam daje možnost odriva in posledično upora. Nenazadnje so tla tudi možnost novega življenja, zemlja, iz katere klijejo nove zamisli in prostori.
Na tleh je drugi del trilogije uprizoritvenih umetnic Maje Dekleva Lapajne in Alenke Marinič. Leta 2017 sta vstopili v predstavo in glasbeni album Pod vodo in kmalu zatem zasnovali trilogijo skupnega ustvarjanja: Pod vodo, Na tleh, V zraku. Sanjata tudi o epilogu Pod zemljo, ki ga morebiti izvede samo še ena od njiju ali pa se zgodi brez njune fizične prisotnosti na tem svetu.

Alenka Marinič je diplomirana filozofinja in zgodovinarka ter neodvisna ustvarjalka na področju uprizoritvenih umetnosti. S Kolektivom Narobov je kot performerka in soavtorica gostovala na številnih slovenskih in mednarodnih prizoriščih. Leta 2013 je zaključila šolanje na mednarodni šoli fizičnega gledališča Helikos v Firencah. Odtlej sodeluje z Justinom Durelom in Anjo Bezlovo, s katerima ustvarja pod okriljem društva Globus Hystericus. Kot ustvarjalka deluje na področju uličnega, klovnovskega in fizičnega gledališča. Širša javnost jo pozna iz satirične TV oddaje Kaj dogaja in kot klovneso Rdečih noskov.
Maja Dekleva Lapajne je performerka in režiserka iz Ljubljane.
