We invite you to a relaxed get-together at the renovated K67 kiosk, one of the most recognizable symbols of Slovenian Industrial Design, designed by the architect and designer Sasha J. M. On the platform in front of the Maribor Art Gallery, through conversation and observation, we will discover the story of The Legend of design – since its creation in the 60s. years to today's revival. Due to its innovation and design perfection, the K67 has established itself not only in the countries of the former Yugoslavia, but also abroad. Although its presence has diminished over time, today it is experiencing a notable revival through many reinterpretations. The K67 thus remains a symbol of design heritage 20. for centuries, a prized collector's item and a recognizable element of urban space. Since 1970, it has also been part of the collection of the NE of the MoMA museum as an example of cutting-edge modular architecture. The K67 Kiosk in front of the Maribor art gallery was renovated by students of the Maribor Technical School center. The project was selected as part of the participatory budget of the municipality of Maribor.
At a relaxed coffee gathering, we will bring back memories of the time when K67 kiosks co – created the pulse of urban everyday life-as newsstands, flower shops, information points or simply as meeting places. See you at the kiosk!

Vabimo vas na sproščeno druženje ob prenovljenem kiosku K67, enem najbolj prepoznavnih simbolov slovenskega industrijskega oblikovanja, ki ga je zasnoval arhitekt in oblikovalec Saša J. Mächtig. Na ploščadi pred Umetnostna galerija Maribor bomo skozi pogovor in opazovanje odkrivali zgodbo legende oblikovanja – od nastanka v 60. letih do današnjega ponovnega oživljanja. Zaradi svoje inovativnosti in oblikovalske dovršenosti se K67 ni uveljavil le v državah nekdanje Jugoslavije, temveč tudi v tujini. Čeprav se je njegova prisotnost sčasoma zmanjšala, danes doživlja opazen preporod skozi številne reinterpretacije. K67 tako ostaja simbol oblikovalske dediščine 20. stoletja, cenjen zbirateljski predmet in prepoznaven element urbanega prostora. Od leta 1970 je tudi del zbirke newyorškega muzeja MoMA kot primer vrhunske modularne arhitekture. Kiosk K67 pred Umetnostno galerijo Maribor so prenovili dijaki Tehniškega šolskega centra Maribor. Projekt je bil izbran v sklopu Participativnega proračuna Mestne občine Maribor.
Na sproščenem druženju ob kavi bomo skupaj obujali spomine na čas, ko so kioski K67 soustvarjali utrip mestnega vsakdana – kot prodajalne časopisov, cvetličarne, informacijske točke ali pa preprosto kot prostori srečevanja. Se vidimo pri kiosku!
