The Youth Symphony Orchestra of the state of Hamburg was created in 1968 as the first self-governing Youth Orchestra in Germany. Its beginnings stem from the initiative of young people who wanted quality symphonic music and an active role in artistic and organizational decisions. Today, the orchestra connects around 80 talented young musicians and is considered an important part of the Hamburg musical landscape. For the past nineteen years it has been operating under the auspices of the Hamburg regional music Council, and since 2024 it has been involved in the tutti-Pro sponsorship program with the Hamburg Philharmonic, which promotes cooperation between young and professional musicians. The Regional Youth Orchestra produces two central concert programs each year, usually presented in June and November, as well as performing additional concerts in Hamburg, across Germany and abroad in summer and autumn.
Artistic director and conductor of the orchestra of Johannes Witt, in the last few years, successfully debuted in some of the most prestigious opera houses including the Vienna state opera, the Finnish national opera and the National theatre in Stuttgart. Since the 2021/2022 season, he has been acting as the head chaplain of the Opera at the Animatuppertal, where among the notable productions during this period stand out the German premiere of Sciarrin's opera Il Canto s'attrista, perch? , as well as La Traviata , Amaterther , the Pirates Of Penzance, Rigoletto, and The Merry Widow . Prior to that, he was Kapellmeister at the Aalto Theatre in Essen for several years, where he conducted many new productions and re-enactments , including operas such as the Princess of arda , The Barber of Seville , Norma , de ela smiles , the bride sold , Janko and Metka, and Cos / Fan tutte . With the same commitment, Moditt also led ballet productions such as Romeo and Juliet , Hresta Ch , Giselle , Sloe Ch ica , Yevgeny Onegin and Swan Lake .
The Slovenian violinist Mark Lev Krajnc is a student of the School of music and theatre in M'ultnchen in the class of Prof. Julie Fischer. In March 2024, at the TEMSIG competition, he won 1. award and golden plaque and received special awards for the achieved 100 points and the best performance of a Slovenian composition. In August 2024, he became the third laureate of The Kreutzer International Violin and chamber music competition in Belgium. As a soloist, he performed with the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra from Budapest, The String Orchestra of the Danica Neuvirt Koren Summer Music School, the Zagreb String Orchestra, The Camerata Laibach and others, while performing nine solo recitals at home and abroad. He has presented himself several times at the festival Lent and Young Virtuosos (Festival Ljubljana). He is a finalist of young hopes 2024. He attended several masterclasses by Miran Kolbl and trained among others at Barbara Kolbl, zgi Branko and Elina in Okchakulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulkulk.

Mladinski simfonični orkester dežele Hamburg je nastal leta 1968 kot prvi samoupravni mladinski orkester v Nemčiji. Avgusta 2024 je postal tretji lavreat na Mednarodnem glasbenem tekmovanju za violino in komorno glasbo Kreutzer v Belgiji. Kot solist je nastopil s Simfoničnim orkestrom Madžarskega radia iz Budimpešte, Godalnim orkestrom Poletne glasbene šole Danice Neuvirt Koren, Zagrebškim godalnim orkestrom, Camerato Laibach in drugimi, ob tem pa izvedel devet samostojnih recitalov doma in v tujini. Večkrat se je predstavil na Festivalu Lent in Mladih virtuozih (Festival Ljubljana). Je finalist Mladih upov 2024. Udeležil se je več mojstrskih tečajev Mirana Kolbla ter se izpopolnjeval med drugimi pri Barbari Kolbl, Žigi Branku in Elini Vähälä.
