Dear old music lovers and Friends of the Sevi Animacc festival,
The Sevi Festival program of the 2026 Fest, which will take place between 7. and 21. as of August 2026, not yet announced. At the moment, we are waiting for the results of some calls, due to which the details may still change a little. However, since we want to start the pre-sale now, we have designed a special priority ticket at half price of EUR 10.00. The programme is expected to be announced in February 2026, when we will start with a pre-sale price of EUR 20.00, which will then rise step by step up to EUR 35.00 during the festival. More information is on the ticket page . Buyers of priority tickets will be informed about the program of the 2026 Festival a week before its public announcement. The lower price of the priority ticket is also an expression of our confidence in your confidence in our work – that, as in all previous years, we will prepare a truly high-quality program.
Although the program of the festival 2026 has not yet been finally confirmed, we have already announced a concert on the occasion of the European day of Early Music (EDEM), which will take place on Saturday, 21. in March 2026, at the National House in Celje. The event is published on the events page . With the transfer of Sevi's Residency programme to Celje, new conditions were established for the development and placement of early music in the local and National Space. The programme for the development of early music in Slovenia is thus upgraded with a special concert on the occasion of the European Early Music Day, which establishes a new substantive and symbolic centre of this International Day in Celje. The design of the programme at Ars Ramovs was entrusted to the artist Marusa Brezavschek, whose selection of line-up and repertoire also follows the development-oriented approach of the Sevi Animc Collegiumartis programme, aimed at connecting top domestic and international performers of Early Music. For the first time, the new Slovenian-Croatian ensemble Harmonia Adriatica will be presented, which brings together artists with a long tradition of chamber music. Admission will be free, with the obligatory reservation of a free ticket. Tickets will be issued 1. in January 2026.
On this occasion, we will also prepare the Celeia symposium, dedicated to the reflection on the role of Europe as a leading cultural entity in times of current tectonic shifts in world politics. The symposium will highlight the importance of culture for the perspective of the development of Europe and the role of Slovenian efforts in the development of the scene of early music and international integration. Its purpose is also to provide guidance for the further development of the Sevi's programme as a European cooperation project, especially in terms of connecting Slovenian artists with the International Space.
Again, I invite you to support our operation with a donation from income tax . This form of support does not mean additional costs for you, but for the festival it is a valuable contribution to stable and independent operation. The functioning of cultural programmes, such as Sevi Ilucc, is increasingly dependent on tender procedures, which often do not allow for a comprehensive and in-depth assessment of the submitted projects. Despite some improvements to the system, limitations remain that do not necessarily result in public funding for high-quality and internationally recognised programmes. That is why the support of individuals plays a key role. With a donation from income tax, you enable the further development of top – quality programs of Early Music, long-term work with artists and the availability of quality culture in different environments-even where public mechanisms cannot fully ensure this.
