Thursday, 17. in September 2026, at 18. uri invites you to the City Reading Room, Brolo Square 1, for a new evening from the cycle “literary aquarium” .
This time with us will be the poet Tom Veber, who is creating in September at the art residence of the House of Alojz Kocjancic in Kubed, and the Ankaran poet and musician Vasja Klun.
Tom Veber (1995) is a writer, editor, intermedia artist and cultural producer. So far, he has published four collections of poetry: the breaking point (2019), the forest reaches here (2021), reddened cheeks (2024) and mold and other loves (2024). His poetry crossed Slovenian borders and was published in many countries, and he received several awards and nominations for his work. In 2023, he won the Fann Entertainment Haussmann competition for the best song cycle.
Vasja Klun (1987) has been creating literature since her teenage years. He expresses himself mainly through poetry, but also occasionally intertwines his thoughts with music. He takes inspiration from real people and events and, through his creation, reveals a world that is often much more complex than it seems at first glance.
Poetry, creation, inspiration, music and much more will be discussed with the guests by Martin Mikolic .
The artist residency Program is being created under the auspices of the Institute for youth, culture and tourism Koper .

V četrtek, 17. septembra 2026, ob 18. uri vas vabimo v Mestno čitalnico, Trg Brolo 1, na nov večer iz cikla “Literarni akvarij” .
Tokrat bosta z nami pesnika Tom Veber, ki septembra ustvarja v umetniški rezidenci Hiše Alojza Kocjančiča v Kubedu, ter ankaranski pesnik in glasbenik Vasja Klun.
✒️ Tom Veber (1995) je književnik, urednik, intermedijski umetnik in kulturni producent. Doslej je izdal štiri pesniške zbirke: Točka preloma (2019), Do tu sega gozd (2021), Pordelih lic (2024) ter Plesen in druge ljubezni (2024). Njegova poezija je prestopila slovenske meje in bila objavljena v številnih državah, za svoje ustvarjanje pa je prejel več nagrad in nominacij. Leta 2023 je zmagal na natečaju Fanny Haussmann za najboljši cikel pesmi.
🎶 Vasja Klun (1987) literarno ustvarja že od najstniških let. Izraža se predvsem skozi poezijo, svoje misli pa občasno prepleta tudi z glasbo. Navdihuje se pri resničnih ljudeh in dogodkih ter skozi svoje ustvarjanje razkriva svet, ki je pogosto veliko bolj kompleksen, kot se zdi na prvi pogled.
💬 O poeziji, ustvarjanju, navdihu, glasbi in še marsičem se bo z gostoma pogovarjal Martin Mikolič .
Program umetniške rezidence nastaja pod okriljem Zavoda za mladino, kulturo in turizem Koper .
