Carlobianchi and Doriano, two fifty-year-olds penniless and with the philosophy of life "never refuse the last glass", meet Giulio, a shy architecture student who is still looking for himself. A chance meeting grows into a chaotic journey through the Venetian Plains, in which bad advice, cats and unexpected friendship change Giulio's outlook on life and love.

Another round, let's go was born one winter night almost ten years ago, when I got drunk in Venice with a good friend. We met a young architecture student from the IUAV University of Venice, which was the beginning of a great friendship. The next morning we half jokingly presented him with the idea for the film another round, and we go about two men from the hills who come to Venice for the last drink. In a world that is constantly changing, I am looking for Lost Ways (of life) so that I can find a new way forward. Pasolini's idea of the "scandalous revolutionary power of the past" is very close to me – the search for traces of humanity, insights and visions from the past that would ignite new ideas aimed at the future.(…)
Marco Ferreri, Elio Petri, Francesco Rosi, Carlo Lizzani and the whole tradition of Italian cinema are also very close to me. They knew how to penetrate reality and portray it poetically, but without illusions. Their films addressed their time directly, clearly and in depth. I want to make such films myself. Films that can directly look the present in the eye. In this sense, I try to revive some "lost" film forms. One more round and we go is commedia all'italiana (Italian comedy).
Francesco Sossai
Francesco sossai was born in Feltre, in the Italian Dolomites. After studying English and German literature at La Sapienza University of Rome, he graduated in film directing from the Deutsche Filmund Fernsehakademie in Berlin.
Already during his studies, he shot his first feature film Altri Cannibali (2021), which received, among other things, the Best Debut Award at the Black Nights Festival in Tallinn (P / CKFF) and the Vanguard Award at the Vancouver International Film Festival.
His short film The Birthday Party (2023), was first shown in the section Quinzaine des cinéastes, won awards at the festivals, Curtas Vila to Conde, and the Premiers Plans d’Angers, and was nominated for a european film award and the German prize for a short film (Deutsche Kurzfilmpreis).
Another round, let's go, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section, among others it was also shown in Toronto and not in Animatork, and in our country at the tribute to Vision Festival in Nova Gorica.

Carlobianchi in Doriano, dva petdesetletnika brez denarja in z življenjsko filozofijo »nikoli ne zavrni zadnjega kozarčka«, spoznata Giulia, sramežljivega študenta arhitekture, ki se še vedno išče. Naključno srečanje preraste v kaotično potovanje po beneških ravnicah, na katerem slabi nasveti, mački in nepričakovano prijateljstvo spremenijo Giuliev pogled na življenje in ljubezen.

Še eno rundo, pa greva se je rodil neke zimske noči pred skoraj desetimi leti, ko sem se v Benetkah napil z dobrim prijateljem. Spoznala sva mladega študenta arhitekture z beneške univerze IUAV, kar je bil začetek velikega prijateljstva. Naslednje jutro sva mu na pol v šali predstavila idejo za film Še eno rundo, pa greva o dveh moških iz hribov, ki prideta v Benetke na zadnjo pijačo. Film se je tako začel kot šala, ki se vrti okoli treh glavnih tem: alkohola, prijateljstva in arhitekture (…)
Zdi se mi pomenljivo, da danes uporabljamo besedo »območje« namesto »dežela«, kot pravi grof Bugnello v filmu. Ta semantični premik veliko pove o tem, kako malo je ostalo od podeželske Benečije. Danes imamo občutek, da se po podeželju širi urbana samota, kar sem hotel prenesti v
film. Vasi niso več to, kar so bile, mesta pa tudi še niso. Želeli smo raziskati dušo pokrajine, ki je postala zelo bogato pokopališče. Izginja vse, kar ni podrejeno komercialnim interesom, ekosistemi so onesnaženi, stare, zapuščene ali porušene hiše pa se umikajo brezosebnim stanovanjskim
zgradbam. (…)
V svetu, ki se ves čas spreminja, iščem izgubljene načine (življenja), da bi lahko našel novo pot naprej. Zelo blizu mi je Pasolinijeva ideja »škandalozne revolucionarne moči preteklosti« – iskanje sledi človečnosti, uvidov in vizij iz preteklosti, ki bi zanetili nove ideje, usmerjene v prihodnost.(…)
Zelo so mi blizu tudi Marco Ferreri, Elio Petri, Francesco Rosi, Carlo Lizzani in celotna tradicija italijanskega filma. Znali so prodreti v resničnost in jo upodobiti poetično, a brez iluzij. Njihovi filmi so neposredno nagovarjali svoj čas, jasno in poglobljeno. Take filme želim ustvarjati tudi sam. Filme, ki zmorejo neposredno pogledati sedanjosti v oči. V tem smislu skušam oživiti nekatere »izgubljene« filmske oblike. Še eno rundo, pa greva je commedia all’italiana (italijanska komedija).
