About the show:
The Play flight over the Cuckoo's Nest () is based on Ken Kese's novel of the same name by Ken Kese and is a work that explores the theme of freedom, mental illness and authority.
The show takes place in a mental institution where different characters with different mental disorders meet, under the watchful eye of the strict and authoritarian sister Ratched. The protagonist, Randle P. Mcmurph/, is a spirited rebel who volunteers to join an institution to avoid imprisonment. His arrival at the institution has an exciting effect on other patients by bringing them some hope and momentum to resist authority and better lives outside.
Mcmurph otherwise quickly befriends most of the patients, especially the overjoyed Chief Bromden, who comes to terms with his environment due to his struggles and social constraints. With its influence, patients begin to gain more strength and will to resist the system that has suffocated them for a long time. Despite bringing energy to the institution with its indomitable and humorous nature, Mcmurph film also copes with the violence and manipulation of Sister Ratched, who represents a symbol of soulless bureaucratic power.
At the forefront of the show are the fights between Mcmurph Entertainment and sister Ratched, which sharpen into violent psychological games. Mcmurph is a symbol of resistance to oppressive systems and the search for personal freedom, while Ratched's represents repression, discipline and control. The Drama reveals the tension between how an individual can seek their freedom within the framework of social norms and authorities, and what consequences these conflicts can bring.
The performance of the flight over the Cuckoo's Nest is extremely moving and often raises questions about mental health, individual freedom, and the nature of authority and authority.
The performance of the flight over the Cuckoo's Nest is not just a tragic drama – it is also a tragicomedy that repeatedly makes the viewer laugh , despite the serious topics it deals with. The Humor emerges in Mcmurph Entertainment's lively, bold, and imaginative attempts to cheer up patients and challenge strict Nurse Ratched, as well as in unusual situations stemming from the personal qualities of individuals in the facility. This combination of laughter and pain gives depth to the story: the viewer simultaneously feels the severity of the repressive system and the joy of small victories of individuals.

O predstavi:
Ta kombinacija smeha in bolečine daje zgodbi globino: gledalec hkrati začuti resnost represivnega sistema in radost majhnih zmag posameznikov.
