In the month of January, on the wall of the creativity of the Izola city library, you can see the exhibition of painting canvases "in the Winter Garden Spring", prepared by the Chokinel painting group in various formats mostly in acrylic technique. Under the mentorship of Dasha Kosuta Javaid, they exhibit: Aleksandra April, Olivera Gorenc, Tatjana Haber, Nivea Kofol, Natasha Kukec, Zlata Maraz, Vida Mrkonjic, Nevija Peric Falkner and Alice Staraz. Spring in the middle of winter. In a safe haven, a magical braid of color, beauty, smell and spirit is intertwined. Flowers unfold, colorful butterflies fly, birds chirp and make noise. Fairy-tale world in winter. Nature, warm my heart! All under the watchful eye of mythical dragons-keepers who defend the entrance to the external January cold and are not fooled by the deceptive sun and blue that hide the Bora behind them. For Celsius's footsteps ask and trusted warm heart. Swing into the rainbow atmosphere, reach for a tempting book with your hand and take a whirlwind of imagination with you into the warmth of your home. The Chopinel group has been active since 2019 in the multi-generational Centre Morje Koper. They are united by a common interest and joy in painting. They created on diverse topics and exhibited in different locations of Koper, the countryside and closer across the border.

V mesecu januarju si lahko na Steni ustvarjalnosti Mestne knjižnice Izola ogledate razstavo slikarskih platen »V zimskem vrtu pomlad«, ki jo je pripravila slikarska skupina Čopinel v različnih formatih večinoma v akrilni tehniki. Pod mentorstvom Daše Košuta Javaid razstavljajo: Aleksandra April, Olivera Gorenc, Tatjana Haber, Nivea Kofol, Nataša Kukec, Zlata Maraž, Vida Mrkonjič, Nevija Perič Falkner in Alice Staraz. Pomlad sredi zime. V varnem zavetju se prepleta čarobna kitka barv, lepote, vonja in duha. Rože se razpirajo, pisani metulji spreletavajo, ptice žvrgolijo in se oglašajo. Pravljični svet pozimi. Narava, ogrej moje srce! Vse pod budnim očesom mitskih Zmajev-čuvajev, ki zunanjemu januarskemu mrazu branijo vstop in jih ne pretentata varljivo sonce in modrina, ki skrivata burjo za sabo. Za Celzijeve stopinje vprašajo in zaupanja vredno toplo srce. Zazibaj se v mavrično vzdušje, z roko sezi po mamljivi knjigi in s sabo ponesi vrtinec domišljije v toplino svojega doma. Skupina Čopinel je aktivna od leta 2019 v Večgeneracijskem centru Morje Koper. Združuje jih skupni interes in veselje do slikanja. Ustvarjali so na raznolike teme in razstavljali na različnih lokacijah Kopra, podeželja in bližje čez mejo.
