The exhibition presents a selection of sketches by Doc mentors. mag. Mateje Kregar Trshar and assist. Andrej Baslj, created in the subjects of drawing, drawing and plastic design and development of Landscape Design, in the first three years of the study programme Landscape Architecture at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana .
The presented works were created in the field, in direct contact with space. Drawing notation is a way of transferring a landscape building to paper; with it we develop the ability to see and learn to perceive small details and their relationship to the whole. Thus, drawing is not just a snapshot of what is seen, but becomes a tool of research and communication.
The sketch is a selective display. He deliberately draws attention to what is essential for the observer – to the features of the landscape, its components and structure. It is an analytical tool with which we not only document space, but at the same time interpret it. In such drawing studies, one can discern stories that are often ignored in other presentation techniques. Stronger than a fleeting impression, they reveal relationships that would otherwise remain hidden from the eye and mind, and contribute to a better understanding of the organization and functioning of space.
Drawing allows students to develop sensitivity of perception, spatial representation, orientation in space, abstract thinking and a sense of composition. A clear, legible and precise sketch is the foundation of any good communication, both in the planning process and in project presentations. Through exercises, students strengthen the connection between the hand and the head and learn to create the impression of depth and three-dimensionality of space using simple artistic means.
In the field, through an analytical sketch, a selective view develops: observation of landscape elements, natural structures and their change. Each sketch is a captured moment, a record of transience, which, in addition to space, reveals a part of the author himself – his mood, thinking and attitude to nature.
A sketch is an indispensable stage in any creative research. It is the contact between the outside world and the inner experience, between observation and interpretation, between the landscape and the human being, which transmits it with sensitivity to paper.
Razstava predstavlja izbor skic mentorjev doc. mag. Mateje Kregar Tršar in asist. Andreja Bašlja, nastalih pri predmetih Risanje, Risanje in plastično oblikovanje ter Razvoj krajinskega oblikovanja, v prvih treh letnikih študijskega programa Krajinska arhitektura na Biotehniški fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani .
Predstavljena dela so nastala na terenu, v neposrednem stiku s prostorom. Risarski zapis je način prenosa krajinske zgradbe na papir; z njim razvijamo sposobnost gledanja in se učimo zaznavati drobne detajle ter njihov odnos do celote. Risba tako ni zgolj posnetek videnega, ampak postane orodje raziskovanja in komunikacije.
Skica je selektivni prikaz. Namenoma opozarja na tisto, kar je za opazovalca bistveno – na značilnosti krajine, njene sestavine in strukturo. Je analitično orodje, s katerim ne le dokumentiramo prostor, temveč ga hkrati interpretiramo. V takih risarskih študijah lahko razberemo zgodbe, ki so v drugih prezentacijskih tehnikah pogosto prezrte. Močneje od bežnega vtisa razkrivajo odnose, ki bi sicer ostali skriti očesu in umu, ter prispevajo k boljšemu razumevanju organizacije in delovanja prostora.
Risanje študentom omogoča razvijanje občutljivosti zaznavanja, prostorske predstave, orientacije v prostoru, abstraktnega mišljenja in občutka za kompozicijo. Jasna, čitljiva in natančna skica je temelj vsake dobre komunikacije, tako v procesu načrtovanja kot v predstavitvah projektov. Študenti z vajami krepijo povezavo med roko in glavo ter se s preprostimi likovnimi sredstvi učijo ustvarjati vtis globine in tridimenzionalnosti prostora.
Na terenu se skozi analitično skico razvija selektivni pogled: opazovanje krajinskih prvin, naravnih struktur in njihovega spreminjanja. Vsaka skica je ujet trenutek, zapis minljivosti, ki poleg prostora razkriva tudi del avtorja samega – njegovo razpoloženje, razmišljanje in odnos do narave.
Skica je nepogrešljiva faza vsakega ustvarjalnega raziskovanja. Je stik med zunanjim svetom in notranjim doživljanjem, med opazovanjem in interpretacijo, med krajino in človekom, ki jo z občutljivostjo prenaša na papir.
