Filmed in the style of the Golden Age of musicals, the story of the only surviving family on the globe, whose apparent idyll in a luxurious underground bunker rocks the arrival of a stranger. Due to an environmental disaster, the Earth is devastated. It seems that only a family of three survived, hidden in a spacious bunker somewhere deep in a salt mine. George is a naive twenty-year-old young man who knows the outside world only from narration. She and her father, a former energy tycoon, are writing a book while their mother takes care of the many priceless pieces of art that adorn the walls of their underground home. But when a stranger finds herself at their door seeking refuge, the family dynamic begins to crumble. George questions the idyllic existence of his own family and wonders if there really is nothing else beyond the boundaries of the underground world.
