Recently, the Museum of contemporary and recent history of Slovenia published a comprehensive anthology Slovenian campers in the Nazi concentration camp system, which reveals the breadth of involvement in the wheels of the Nazi system with a variety of stories. One of the articles in the proceedings is dedicated to the important witness of this period Boris Pahor (1913, Trieste – 2022, Kontovel/Trieste). Based on Pahor's works, biographical literature about him, as well as historical sources and other literature about the camps, it was written by Boris Hajdinjak.
Boris Hajdinjak, geographer, historian and director of the Maribor Synagogue, is an excellent connoisseur of the Middle Ages, a researcher of the history of the Jews in Slovenia and a researcher of the Holocaust.

Pred kratkim je pri Muzeju novejše in sodobne zgodovine Slovenije izšel obsežen zbornik Slovenski taboriščniki v sistemu nacističnih koncentracijskih taborišč, ki z raznolikostjo zgodb razkriva širino vpetosti v kolesje nacističnega sistema. Eden od prispevkov v zborniku je posvečen pomembnemu pričevalcu tega obdobja Borisu Pahorju (1913, Trst – 2022, Kontovel/Trst). Na osnovi Pahorjevih del, biografske literature o njem ter zgodovinskih virov in druge literature o taboriščih ga je napisal Boris Hajdinjak.
Boris Hajdinjak, geograf, zgodovinar in direktor Sinagoge Maribor, je odličen poznavalec srednjega veka, raziskovalec zgodovine Judov na Slovenskem in raziskovalec holokavsta.
