The Zero-Point initiative was launched by Palestinian director Rashid Mashara Alocii with the aim of giving artists and filmmakers in Gaza the opportunity to spill their daily lives during the genocide into short films (feature, documentary, experimental). The filmmakers from Gaza worked closely with their Arab and international counterparts, helping to develop ideas and providing artistic guidance to the authors of the films.
Pobudo za Iz ničelne točke je sprožil palestinski režiser Rashid Masharawi z namenom dati možnost umetnikom in filmskim ustvarjalcem v Gazi, da svoje vsakodnevno življenje med genocidom prelijejo v kratke filme (igrane, dokumentarne, eksperimentalne). S filmskimi ustvarjalci iz Gaze so tesno sodelovali njihovi arabski in mednarodni kolegi, ki so pripomogli k razvoju idej in nudili umetniško vodstvo avtorjem filmov.
