The amaktorld Percussion Group is an international collective of outstanding percussionists from all over the world. Musicians are selected through a rigorous audition process, ensuring that only the most talented artists join the ensemble. The band's lineup speaks for itself: the members come from 45 countries. Under the leadership of artistic director Tim Palmerja, who is himself a world-renowned tolkalec, WPG offers the thrill of the 80-minute program, which shows the style of the versatility of the ensemble – from the classic masterpieces of Bach and Ginastere to cutting-edge contemporary works. The group's mission is to inspire audiences around the world through performances that balance artistic excellence with accessibility. The music is a symbol of artistic collaboration, cultural dialogue and the innovative future of percussion music.

World Percussion Group (WPG) je mednarodni kolektiv izjemnih tolkalcev z vsega sveta. Glasbeniki so izbrani na podlagi stroge avdicije, kar zagotavlja, da se ansamblu pridružijo le najbolj nadarjeni umetniki. Zasedba skupine govori sama zase: člani prihajajo iz 45 držav. Pod vodstvom umetniškega direktorja Tima Palmerja, ki je tudi sam svetovno priznan tolkalec, WPG ponuja vznemirljiv 80-minutni program, ki prikazuje slogovno vsestranskost ansambla – od klasičnih mojstrovin Bacha in Ginastere do najsodobnejših sodobnih del.
