On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the Slovenian army orchestra is preparing a solemn concert that will mark a new milestone in its artistic growth. Under the guidance of the internationally renowned conductor Andreas Hanson, known for his expressive musicality and in – depth work with wind orchestras, and in the company of two top soloists – cellist Marco Coppa / an esteemed interpreter with an exceptional sense of stylistic diversity, and pianist Andre / Von OE / Amen, who impresses with virtuosity and charismatic stage presence-the evening will offer a sophisticated dramaturgy between contemporary and classical.
The programme symbolically intertwines new and tradition: from the baptismal performance of the Feast of Jani the dove to the distinctly unconventional, Jazz-coloured Guld's Cello Concerto to the colourful Gersh 6kin Rhapsody in blue and the playful Divertimento of Bernstein.
The anniversary concert confirms the ambition of the orchestra to place itself more and more firmly in the top cultural and artistic space and to convincingly upgrade the rich tradition of military musical activity.
The soloists of the evening, cellist Marc Coppe / and pianist Andre / von OE / Animaten, will be the 17th. in October, she also performed at a recital in the gallus Hall as part of the Silver subscription of Cankarjev Dom, which will also be part of Cellofest 2026.

Orkester Slovenske vojske ob 30-letnici delovanja pripravlja slovesen koncert, ki bo zaznamoval nov mejnik njegove umetniške rasti. Pod vodstvom mednarodno uveljavljenega dirigenta Andreasa Hansona, znanega po svoji izraziti muzikalnosti in poglobljenem delu s pihalnimi orkestri, ter v družbi dveh vrhunskih solistov – violončelista Marca Coppeyja, cenjenega interpreta z izjemnim občutkom za slogovno raznovrstnost, ter pianista Andrewa von Oeyena, ki navdušuje z virtuoznostjo in karizmatično odrsko prezenco – bo večer ponudil prefinjeno dramaturgijo med sodobnim in klasičnim.
Program simbolno prepleta novo in tradicijo: od krstne izvedbe dela Praznik Janija Goloba do izrazito nekonvencionalnega, jazzovsko obarvanega Guldovega Koncerta za violončelo pa vse do barvite Gershwinove Rapsodije v modrem in igrivega Bernsteinovega Divertimenta.
Jubilejni koncert potrjuje ambicijo orkestra, da se vse odločneje umešča v vrhunski kulturno-umetniški prostor in prepričljivo nadgrajuje bogato tradicijo vojaškega glasbenega delovanja.
Solista večera, violončelist Marc Coppey in pianist Andrew von Oeyen, bosta 17. oktobra v Gallusovi dvorani skupaj nastopila tudi na recitalu v okviru Srebrnega abonmaja Cankarjevega doma, ki bo hkrati del Cellofesta 2026.
