DUsul-the sound that awakens time
DUsul is made up of Eudora Grade and Lu Amuss Coelho, musicians who, with the virtuosity of their hands, bring to life the history in which the guitar rests. They come from the south of Portugal, from where bread is sown and hope is reaped. They combine the sound of classical and Portuguese guitars.
"The sound that awakens the time" is an interpretation, and the selection of the songs of great composers such as Carlos Paredes, Gonçalo Paredes, Manuel Marques, John Tisky, Casimiro Ramos, José Nunes, and Armandinho as well as three original tracks, Ricarda Martinsa, Driver Jesusa and Carlos Garcie.
The arrangements created specifically for DUsul by Carlos Garcia and Miguel Jesus are inspired by the symbiosis between folk music associated with fado and art music embodied by classical guitar. So they intertwine spontaneity and cultural heritage.
