This time, the Schellenburg Boys Choir is preparing two concerts for us. On Wednesday, 25. in May 2016, at 19.30 in the Ursuline Church of Sv. Trinity in Ljubljana and on Sunday 29. in May 2016, at 20.00 at the parish church in Mengsh. There is no entrance fee!

You are kindly invited to 8., The Last Concert of the sacral subscription this season, which will feature the Schellenburg Boys Choir, under the direction of the choir director s. Bozena Kutnar. The choir will be accompanied by a casual Orchestra, a few male voices and organist Gregor Klancic.
Nowadays, we rarely have the opportunity to listen to the sound of boys 'voices, which differs in its characteristic color from the children's choir, which is usually dominated by girls' voices. The tradition of boys ' choirs dates back to the Middle Ages, when women were not allowed to sing at worship services, so boys took over the singing of female voices. In addition to the formation of singing at the liturgy, boys ' choirs also played an important role in the musical and singing education of boys. Almost all important musicians and composers in history received a good basis for further musical education here.
The program will include works by: Shchek, Gachnik, Vodopivec, Delibes, Franck and others, as well as the first performance of a new work by Salva Regina, by Gasper Jereb.

The audition for the new singers will take place on Tuesday, 14. in June 2016, from 16.00 to 18.00 and on Monday, 29. in August 2016, from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 16.00 in the Hall of the Ursuline monastery in Ljubljana, on Plecnikov square 1A.
Tokrat nam Deški zbor Schellenburg pripravlja kar dva koncerta. V sredo, 25. maja 2016, ob 19.30 v uršulinski cerkvi Sv. Trojice v Ljubljani in v nedeljo 29. maja 2016, ob 20.00 v župnijski cerkvi v Mengšu. Vstopnine ni!
Spoštovani ljubitelji sakralne glasbe!
Vljudno vabljeni na 8., zadnji koncert Sakralnega abonmaja v tej sezoni, na katerem bo nastopil Deški zbor Schellenburg, pod vodstvom zborovodkinje s. Božene Kutnar. Zbor bodo pri izvedbi spremljali priložnostni orkester, nekaj moških glasov ter organist Gregor Klančič.
V današnjem času imamo redko priložnost, da prisluhnemo zvoku deških glasov, ki se s svojo značilno barvo razlikuje od otroškega zbora, v katerem običajno prevladujejo dekliški glasovi. Tradicija deških zborov izvira iz srednjega veka, ko ženskam ni bilo dovoljeno peti pri bogoslužju, zato so dečki prevzeli petje ženskih glasov. Deški zbori so imeli poleg oblikovanja petja pri liturgiji pomembno vlogo tudi pri glasbeni in pevski vzgoji dečkov. Skoraj vsi pomembni glasbeniki in skladatelji v zgodovini so tu dobili dobro osnovo za nadaljnje glasbeno izobraževanje.
Na sporedu bodo dela avtorjev: Ščeka, Gačnika, Vodopivca, Delibesa, Francka in drugih ter prva izvedba novega dela Salve Regina, avtorja Gašperja Jereba.
