Representatives of the EPEKA Association, are. p., will attend the training organized by the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum.
Communication on climate change with socially excluded adults will take place on Monday, 10. March, and Monday, 24. in March 2025, between 9.00 and 16.30 at the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum, Metelkova 2, 1000 Ljubljana.
Theme:
How to attract socially excluded adults to climate change debates? How to encourage them to recognize their strength and opportunities for action? How to listen to their perspectives, experiences and understanding of climate change?
Communication on climate change is often challenging and complex. Discussions with socially excluded adults pose a particular challenge, as they are rarely seen as active interlocutors on this topic, and often do not recognize themselves in this role. At the training, theoretical knowledge will be linked to practical approaches and participants will test concrete tools to improve communication on climate change with selected target groups.
Topics of climate change and social inclusion will be presented:
The training will be conducted by Katarina Nahtigal and Tina Palai F. C., Museum pedagogues and curators of the Slovenian Ethnographic Museum.
The EPEKA programme is co-financed by: the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for youth, the municipality of Maribor and Erasmus+.
By subscribing to the newsletter, you will be up to date with all information and announcements of events for young people in Maribor!

Predstavniki Združenja EPEKA, so. p., se bodo udeležili usposabljanja, ki ga organizira Slovenski etnografski muzej.
Usposabljanje Komuniciranje o podnebnih spremembah s socialno izključenimi odraslimi bo potekalo v ponedeljek, 10. marca, in v ponedeljek, 24. marca 2025, med 9.00 in 16.30 v Slovenskem etnografskem muzeju, Metelkova 2, 1000 Ljubljana.
Tema:
Kako pritegniti socialno izključene odrasle v razprave o podnebnih spremembah?
Teme podnebnih sprememb in družbene vključenosti bodo predstavili:
Lučka Kajfež Bogataj, klimatologinja
Zarja Muršič, komunikatorka znanosti
Sandi Horvat, novinar, pisatelj in romski aktivist
Usposabljanje bosta vodili Katarina Nahtigal in Tina Palaić, muzejski pedagoginji in kustosinji Slovenskega etnografskega muzeja.
Program EPEKA sofinancirajo: Urad Republike Slovenije za mladino, Mestna občina Maribor in Erasmus+.
