The new reading oasis in Zgornjii Shiska is under the care of the team of Memorjincica, the association for help with dementia. Their goal is to provide professional assistance to people with dementia, relatives and caregivers.
On Wednesday, 27. in August, in the shade of trees on Podgornikova 3, we will meet the book Where are my keys (youth book), which brings together 27 stories by authors who talk about the experiences of people with dementia or about living with people who have this disease. We will be joined by the co-editor of the book dr. Zdenka Chebasek Travnik and the president of the Memorial Stefanija Lukic Zlobec.
The short stories in the collection are not only dark and unhappy, but also cute, warm and heartfelt. They are a pleasant read, but at the same time they describe the symptoms and ailments of dementia and indicate help or solutions.
The stories are accompanied by expert comments by dr. Zdenka Chebasek Travnik, who is an excellent connoisseur of relationships in families where people with dementia live, and the accompanying word by prof. dr. Zvezdana Pirtoska, a leading expert in the field of dementia.

Za novo bralno oazo v Zgornjii Šiški skrbi ekipa Spominčice, združenja za pomoč pri demenci. Njihov cilj je zagotavljanje strokovne pomoči osebam z demenco, svojcem in skrbnikom.
V sredo, 27. avgusta, se bomo v senci dreves na Podgornikovi 3 spoznali knjigo Kje so moji ključi (Mladinska knjiga), ki združuje 27 zgodb avtoric in avtorjev, ki govorijo o izkušnjah ljudi z demenco oziroma o življenju z ljudmi, ki to bolezen imajo. Pridružila se nam bo sourednica knjige dr. Zdenka Čebašek Travnik in predsednica Spominčice Štefanija Lukič Zlobec.
Kratke zgodbe v zbirki niso samo temne in nesrečne, ampak tudi prikupne, tople in srčne. So prijetno branje, obenem pa opisujejo simptome in tegobe pri demenci ter nakazujejo pomoč oziroma rešitve.
Zgodbe so pospremljene s strokovnimi komentarji dr. Zdenke Čebašek Travnik, ki je odlična poznavalka odnosov v družinah, kjer živijo osebe z demenco, ter spremno besedo prof. dr. Zvezdana Pirtoška, vodilnega strokovnjak na področju demence.
