The cross-border Film Festival tribute to the vision will be held between 7. and 12. in October 2025, it started in the conurbation of both Gorice . For many years, the Festival has provided a meeting place for audiences and filmmakers from both sides of the border, and this year – as part of the official program of the European capital of culture GO! 2025-brings a particularly rich selection of content.

Darko Bratina award, Digital Transformation forum and rich professional program
We start with the grand opening on Tuesday, 7. in October , at 18.00 at the Nova Gorica Cultural Center, which will be marked by one of the visionaries of this year's Festival edition, Italian director Francesco sossai with the Slovenian premiere of the film one more round , we are going ( Le CITT entertainment di pianura, 2025, 98’) with which he presented for the first time at this year's Cannes festival. After the screening, at 21.00 we will move to the EPIC district, to the railway underpass of the Nova Gorica station, where the opening of the Horizons video installation in cooperation with the K3 Festival from Villach will take place in the Ingeborg Bachmann Dome.

This year, the Darko Bratina prize is awarded to two cineastes-Hungarian film virtuoso B Isla Tarr and Animatervant Gianikiano, who worked in tandem with Angela Ricci Lucchi until her death in 2018. Their works will be on display during the festival. Saturday, 11. 10., for example, Gianikian's latest film Diari Di Angela – Noi due cineasti – Capitolo terzo will be shown in the Gorizia House of cinema . On Sunday, 12. 10. , we will honor B Isla Tarra with an exclusive screening of his master film, s Isla Isla (1994, 7 hours 19 min), followed by an introductory lecture by Aljaz Shkllep . To make it easier for you to endure the film Ecstasy, we will also provide an intermediate refreshment. B alcla Tarr will join us after the festival, in the second half of November, when he will lead the master workshop. On this occasion, we will also personally hand him the Darko Bratina award. The second workshop will take place on Friday, 10. 10. in the House of film, the renowned director of photography and filmmaker Daniele CIPR is presenting his beginnings with low-cost cameras and his subsequent adaptation to new technologies, including the use of AI and collaboration with great directors, including Marco Bellocchio. Movie treats for short-time lovers
A carefully selected mosaic of programming sets from intimate stories to socially engaged worldviews awaits you. Friday night will be marked by Iranian and Palestinian authors who boldly reveal the reality of life in their lands through activist works. In cooperation with the festival Dokufest from Prizren , we are preparing a review of Kosovo's new wave of short film, which boldly raises Social Issues, explores identity and brings a fresh, authentic creative expression of the young generation of authors. Fans of the film heritage are waiting for a special dialogue of short masterpieces by Franci Slak and Roberto Rossellini , designed by curators Mila Lazi Entertainment and Ziga Brdnik.
There will be no shortage of our short-term multi-day fixture on the first summer . This once again reveals fresh, bold and promising film Voices from all over Europe and beyond, reflecting the cross-border spirit of Gorizia and Nova Gorica. In addition to the Official Competition Program, students from Nova Gorica , Gorica and Villach will traditionally present their works, and this year's student program is especially rich, as students from the Academy of Arts from Nova Gorica, DAMS from Udine, AGRFT from Ljubljana and ADU from Zagreb were joined by colleagues from the Rufa Academy from Rome.
And last but not least, the filmmakers will also premiere their own production of five short films, which were filmed in Gorizia this year, as part of the programme our everyday cinema, with which they explore and ennoble the cross-border film landscape.The authors of the resulting works under the mentorship of Alessandro Comodino areladi creators Laura Samani, Ester Ivakic, Jan Devetak, Otto Lazi Aluca Reuschel and Francesco sossai.
And since the film is not complete without socializing, we will end each festival day with socializing in carefully selected locations on both sides of the border.

Čezmejni filmski festival Poklon viziji bo med 7. in 12. oktobrom 2025 zaživel v somestju obeh Goric . Festival že vrsto let nudi prostor srečevanja občinstva in filmskih ustvarjalcev iz obeh strani meje, letos pa – kot del uradnega programa Evropske prestolnice kulture GO! 2025 – prinaša še posebej bogat izbor vsebin.
O raznolikem programu, ki ga sestavljajo filmske projekcije, pogovori, mojstrski tečaji, mednarodni forum in še več, se lahko prepričate na naši spletni strani , v nadaljevanju pa sledi smerokaz s festivalskimi poudarki s pomembno opombo, da so vsi dogodki brezplačni, bomo pa zbirali prijave nanje .
Nagrada Darko Bratina, forum o digitalni preobrazbi in bogat strokovni program
Začenjamo s slavnostno otvoritvijo v torek, 7. oktobra, ob 18.00 v Kulturnem domu Nova Gorica , ki bo v znamenju enega od vizionarjev letošnje festivalske edicije, italijanskega režiserja Francesca Sossaija s slovensko premiero filma Še eno rundo, pa greva ( Le città di pianura , 2025, 98’) s katerim se je prvič predstavil na letošnjem cannskem festivalu. Po projekciji se ob 21.00 preselimo v EPIC district, v železniški podhod postaje Nova Gorica, kjer bo v kupoli Ingeborg Bachmann potekala otvoritev video instalacije Horizons v sodelovanju s festivalom K3 iz Beljaka.

Letos nagrado Darko Bratina podeljujemo dvema cineastoma – madžarskemu filmskemu virtuozu Béli Tarru in Yervantu Gianikianu , ki je ustvarjal v tandemu z Angelo Ricci Lucchi vse do njene smrti leta 2018. Njuna dela bodo na ogled v času festivala. V soboto, 11. 10., bomo denimo v goriški Hiši filma predvajali Gianikianov zadnji film Diari di Angela – Noi due cineasti – Capitolo terzo . V nedeljo, 12. 10. , pa bomo Bélo Tarra počastili z ekskluzivno projekcijo njegovega mojstrskega filma Sátántangó (1994, 7 ur 19 min), ki ji bo sledilo uvodno predavanje Aljaža Škrlepa . Da boste lažje zdržali filmsko ekstazo, bomo poskrbeli tudi za vmesno okrepčilo. Béla Tarr se nam bo pridružil po festivalu, v drugi polovici novembra, ko bo vodil mojstrsko delavnico. Ob tej priložnosti mu bomo tudi osebno predali nagrado Darko Bratina. Točen datum dogodka bo objavljen kmalu.
Drugo mojstrsko delavnico bo v petek, 10. 10. v Hiši filma izvedel priznani direktor fotografije in filmski ustvarjalec Daniele Ciprì ter slušateljem predstavil svoje začetke z nizkocenovnimi kamerami in kasnejše prilagajanje novim tehnologijam, vključno z uporabo AI ter sodelovanjem z velikimi režiserji, med drugimi Marcom Bellocchiom. Filmske poslastice za ljubitelje kratkometražcev
Čaka vas skrbno izbran mozaik programskih sklopov od intimnih zgodb do družbeno angažiranih pogledov na svet. Petkov večer bo v znamenju iranskih in palestinskih avtoric, ki skozi aktivistična dela pogumno razkrivajo resničnost življenja v svojih deželah. V sodelovanju s festivalom Dokufest iz Prizrena pripravljamo pregled kosovskega novega vala kratkega filma , ki drzno odpira družbena vprašanja, raziskuje identiteto in prinaša svež, avtentičen ustvarjalni izraz mlade generacije avtorjev. Ljubitelje filmske dediščine pa čaka poseben dialog kratkih mojstrovin Francia Slaka in Roberta Rossellinija , ki sta ga zasnovala kuratorja Mila Lazić in Žiga Brdnik.
Manjkala ne bo niti naša kratkometražna večdnevna stalnica Prvi Poleti . Ta ponovno razkriva sveže, drzne in obetavne filmske glasove iz vse Evrope in od drugod, ki odražajo čezmejni duh Gorice in Nove Gorice. Poleg uradnega tekmovalnega programa se bodo tradicionalno s svojimi deli predstavili dijaki iz Nove Gorice, Gorice in Beljaka , še posebej bogat pa je letošnji študentski program, saj so se študentom z Akademije umetnosti iz Nove Gorice, DAMS-a iz Vidma, AGRFT-ja iz Ljubljane in ADU-ja iz Zagreba pridružili še kolegi z akademije RUFA iz Rima.
In nenazadnje, Kinoatelje bovsklopu programa Naš vsakdanji kino, s katerim raziskuje in plemeniti čezmejno filmsko krajino, premierno predstavil tudi lastno produkcijo petih kratkih filmov, ki so bili letos posneti na Goriškem.Avtorji nastalih del pod mentorstvom Alessandra Comodina somladi ustvarjalci Laura Samani, Ester Ivakič, Jan Devetak, Otto Lazića Reuschel in Francesco Sossai.
In ker film brez druženja ni popoln, bomo vsak festivalski dan zaključili z druženjem na skrbno izbranih lokacijah na obeh straneh meje.
