The performances of the trio Firsht delight audiences in Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia with a musical and theatrical walk through an eclectic concert schedule, which sets new milestones of technical virtuosity and jazz invention, madly remakes famous tunes from the repertoire of European classical music and connects them with elements of stand-up, and curiously searches for elements of musical humor and spectacle in them. The Trio Firsht consists of trumpeter Peter Firsht, pianist Leon Firsht and double bass player Miha Firsht. All of them are successful musicians working in the field of serious, jazz, theatre and entertainment music in Slovenia and abroad as recreators, authors, organizers and teachers.Composer and pianist Leon Firsht received his master's degree in composition at the Academy of music in Ljubljana with prof. Dushan Bavdek. He has created more than 80 symphonic, chamber and solo compositions, which have been performed several times in concerts in Slovenia and around the world. He composes operettas, chamber operas, musicals, music for Symphony Orchestra compositions for chamber ensembles. He has received several awards for his work, his compositions are often selected for compulsory compositions at various national competitions, while chamber and orchestral compositions are regularly performed by the most prominent Slovenian musicians (Slovenian Philharmonic, RTV Orchestra, slo quintet, Slovenian Philharmonic string orchestra ...). In 2017, the municipality of Celje awarded Leon The "Crystal Coat of arms" award for outstanding academic performance. He is the recipient of the 2017 University of Ljubljana Presern award. Leon is also an active jazz pianist and a permanent member of the Funk Fact band.
Trumpeter Peter Firsht (1998) received his master's degree at The Music Academy in Zagreb, in the class of Prof. Marina Zoki Aluca, and through the Erasmus program he also studied at the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy in Budapest. As of 2019, he is the solo trumpet player of the Symphony Orchestra with the Animtnchron Stage Orchestra Vienna, where he collaborates with conductors such as John Animatilliams and Hans Zimmer. He recorded music for several blockbusters, and with the orchestra there were also nominees for the most prestigious Oscar film award. As of 2022, he is employed at the Zagreb Philharmonic. As a guest solo trumpeter, he also collaborates with the Salzburg Philharmonic and the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra. He is the artistic director and trumpeter of the Zagreb Brass Quintet. As a soloist, he performed with several renowned orchestras, and during his schooling he was awarded at several internationally recognized competitions.
Miha Firsht studied at the music academies in Ljubljana, Graz and Zagreb. He collaborates with several successful international orchestras and chamber compositions. This year his solo album “Lower does not go” was released with compositions by contemporary Slovenian composers. He is the initiator and coordinator of the Ambassador of Culture Education Program, the author of a series of essays on cultural and art education, the author of lectures on media literacy and critical information processing, and was also a lecturer at the University of the Third Age in Celje. He also excels in the theater, having worked as an actor, composer and producer on several theatrical and musical-stage performances. Miha Firsht is the director and artistic director of the music programs of the House of Culture Celje, the Central non-governmental cultural institute in the region, and the executive producer of the musical Veronika Deseniska, the most acclaimed cultural production of Celje in recent decades. In 2019, he received the Celje Star Award for outstanding achievements in the field of culture.

Nastopi tria Firšt navdušujejo občinstva v Sloveniji, Srbiji in na Hrvaškem z glasbeno-gledališkim sprehodom čez eklektičen koncertni spored, ki postavlja nove mejnike tehnične virtuoznosti in džezovske invencije, norčavo predeluje znane napeve iz repertoarja evropske klasične glasbe in jih povezuje z elementi stand-upa ter v njih radovedno išče elemente glasbenega humorja in spektakla. Trio Firšt sestavljajo trobentač Peter Firšt, pianist Leon Firšt in kontrabasist Miha Firšt. Vsi so uspešni glasbeniki, ki v Sloveniji in tujini kot poustvarjalci, avtorji, organizatorji in učitelji delujejo na področju resne, jazzovske, gledališke in zabavne glasbe.Skladatelj in pianist Leon Firšt je iz kompozicije magistriral na Akademiji za glasbo v Ljubljani pri prof. Dušanu Bavdku. Ustvaril je več kot 80 simfoničnih, komornih in solističnih skladb, ki so bile večkrat izvedene na koncertih v Sloveniji in po svetu. Sklada operete, komorne opere, muzikale, glasbo za simfonični orkester kompozicije za komorne zasedbe. Za svoje delo je prejel več nagrad, njegove kompozicije so pogosto izbrane za obvezne skladbe na raznih državnih tekmovanjih, komorne in orkestrske skladbe pa so redno izvajanje s strani najeminentnejših slovenskih glasbenikov (Slovenska filharmonija, Orkester RTV, Kvintet Slowind, Komorni godalni orkester Slovenske filharmonije …). Leta 2017 je Mestna občina Celje Leonu podelila nagrado »Kristalni grb« za izjemne študijske uspehe. Je prejemnik Prešernove nagrade Univerze v Ljubljani leta 2017. Leon je tudi aktiven jazzovski pianist in stalni član zasedbe Funk Fact.
Trobentač Peter Firšt (1998) je magistriral na Glasbeni akademiji v Zagrebu, v razredu prof. Marina Zokića, preko programa Erasmus pa je študiral tudi na Glasbeni akademiji Ferenc Liszt v Budimpešti. Od leta 2019 je solo trobentač simfoničnega orkestra Synchron Stage Orchestra Vienna, kjer sodeluje z dirigenti, kot sta John Williams in Hans Zimmer. Posnel je glasbo za več filmskih uspešnic, z orkestrom pa so bili tudi nominiranci za najprestižnejšo filmsko nagrado Oscar. Od leta 2022 je zaposlen v Zagrebški filharmoniji. Kot gostujoči solo trobentač sodeluje tudi s Salzburško filharmonijo in Simfoničnim orkestrom RTV Slovenija. Je umetniški vodja in trobentač Zagrebškega trobilnega kvinteta. Kot solist je nastopil z več priznanimi orkestri, tekom šolanja pa je bil nagrajen na večih mednarodno priznanih tekmovanjih.
Miha Firšt je študiral na glasbenih akademijah v Ljubljani, Gradcu in Zagrebu. Sodeluje z večimi uspešnimi mednarodnimi orkestri in komornimi sestavi. Letos je izšel njegov solo album “Nižje ne gre” s skladbami sodobnih slovenskih skladateljev. Je pobudnik in koordinator izobraževalnega programa Ambasador kulture, avtor vrste esejev o kulturno-umetnostni vzgoji, avtor predavanj o medijski pismenosti in kritični obdelavi informacij, bil pa je tudi predavatelj na Univerzi za tretje življenjsko obdobje v Celju. Odlično se znajde tudi v gledališču, saj je kot igralec, komponist in producent sodeloval pri več gledaliških in glasbeno-scenskih predstavah. Miha Firšt je direktor in umetniški vodja glasbenih programov Hiše kulture Celje, osrednjega nevladnega kulturnega zavoda v regiji ter izvršni producent muzikala Veronika Deseniška, najodmevnejše celjske kulturne produkcije zadnjih desetletij. Leta 2019 je prejel nagrado Celjske zvezde za izjemne dosežke na področju kulture.
