You are invited to a literary evening, which will be held on Wednesday 8. in April, at 18 O'clock, in the Hall Of The Four Seasons. It will feature the fifth collection of poems entitled White Shadows, by Neze Zajc, who, in addition to her long-term intensive research activity as a research associate at the Institute of cultural history of the ZRC SAZU, was able to preserve sources of poetic inspiration.
The new collection and its personal poetics will be discussed with the poetess by Dr. Vilma Puric , Beeps accompanying words, Slovenian, professor and also a writer herself (author of three novels). The actor John the Bishop will also join the event .
Neza Zajc has published six scientific monographs on the historical issues of authorial language, personal expression and on poetological issues of literature (among them: krogozor Slavic words , zrc Publishing House, 2011) and an introduction to Poetics by Anna Akhmatova , zrc publishing house, 2015). She is the editor of five multi – author scientific monographs (among which are: poetry and death , ZRC, 2018; poems and plays by Danet zrc , ZRC, 2021; Light also in this one/: Dante Alighieri–poet and visionary , ZRC-Kud Logos, 2023).
She is the author of five poetry collections: the name of the mountain (Ljubljana: Kud Logos, 2014); the needle in the eclipse (Ljubljana: Institute of Nova revija, 2019); no farewell (Ljubljana: Slovenska matica, 2021); The Lonely World (Ljubljana: Celje Mohorje society, 2023); White Shadows (Trieste: Judika publishing house, 2025).

Vabljeni na literarni večer, ki bo v sredo 8. aprila, ob 18h, v dvorani Štirih letnih časov. Na njem bo predstavljena peta pesniška zbirka z naslovom Bele sence , avtorice Neže Zajc , ki je ob dolgoletni intenzivni raziskovalni dejavnosti kot znanstvena sodelavka na Inštitutu za kulturno zgodovino ZRC SAZU zmogla tudi ohraniti vire pesniškega navdiha.
O novi zbirki in njeni osebni poetiki se bo s pesnico pogovarjala dr. Vilma Purič , piska spremne besede, slovenistka, profesorica in tudi sama pisateljica (avtorica treh romanov). Prireditvi se bo pridružil tudi igralec Janez Škof .
Neža Zajc je izdala šest znanstvenih monografij o historični problematiki avtorskega jezika, osebnega izraza in o poetoloških vprašanjih književnosti (med njimi sta: Krogozor slovanske besede , Založba ZRC, 2011) in Uvod v poetiko Anne Ahmatove , Založba ZRC, 2015). Je urednica petih večavtorskih znanstvenih monografij (med katerimi so: Poezija in smrt , ZRC, 2018; Pesmi in igre Daneta Zajca , ZRC, 2021; Svetloba tudi v temì: Dante Alighieri – pesnik in vizionar , ZRC–Kud Logos, 2023).
Je avtorica petih pesniških zbirk: Ime gore (Ljubljana: Kud Logos, 2014); Igla v mrku (Ljubljana: Inštitut Nove revije, 2019); Brez slovesa (Ljubljana: Slovenska matica, 2021); Samoten svet (Ljubljana: Celjska Mohorjeva družba, 2023); Bele sence (Trst: Založba Mladika, 2025).
