About the film:
Twelve-year-old Anna lives with her deaf mother in a modest, small apartment in Vienna. Upon arriving at high school, she begins to face feelings of shame about her social background, as her classmates mostly come from more privileged backgrounds. Thus, during the school ski week, she has to lie that she is sick, since her mother spent the money to buy a sofa bed so that Anna can have her own bed and her mother has her privacy with a new friend. Anna finds her greatest support in her classmate Mari, who becomes her friend and confidante. He shares with her thoughts of solidarity, fear and the first feelings of falling in love. Complex feelings are also intertwined in her, she is attracted to her classmate Paul, but she is not entirely sure about her feelings.

Film subtilno in spoštljivo odpira teme socialnih razlik, pripadnosti, drobnih skrivnosti in prvih čustev, ki jih spremljajo dvomi, sram in pogum.
