Exclamations and echoes of Slovenian national consciousness through sport, memory and collective emotions. With archival footage, personal anecdotes and social considerations, the documentary explores how a nation builds through cheering and what it leaves aside (and who).
The Film explores how Slovenes began to perceive themselves as a nation through sports - first through skiing and ski jumping, and later also through football. Through the personal story of the author, who came from Bosnia to Slovenia, he reveals how sports successes have become the basis of national self-confidence, mostly as a counterpoint to Yugoslav identity. Who does not jump is a film about the ups and downs of national consciousness, about the power and danger of collective emotions and about the question: What does it mean to be Slovenian today and can sport still bear this burden?

Vzkliki in odmevi slovenske narodne zavesti skozi šport, spomin in kolektivna čustva.
