Do you just want to push buttons and dance to your musical preferences, and someone next to you tires you with mansplaining technical terms every time? Come to the DJ workshops and just drop by, Alce got the animatou.
Raketa, in cooperation with the SKUC Association, presents digital DJ workshops! Without getting too tired with technical concepts, we focus on practice – testing DJ equipment and learning from each other, because DJing is one of those grateful expressive media, and because it is better to learn if we can teach each other.
The workshops will take place on Tuesday afternoons from the end of March to the end of May at the Tiffan/ Monokel clubs with two field visits (Gromka and the K4 club) and some additional workshop content (e.g. where to look for music and DJ opportunities, how to organize an event, how to think about mixing / DJ / Duki), and at the end of the workshops we also carry out the final event, which is organized by the participants themselves with Raketa's support.
The workshops are preferably aimed at slag and queer people, but applications are open to everyone, understanding and respecting this context. No prior knowledge required, but welcome – just no mansplaining, please.
The Program provides for ten meetings and a joint Organization of the final event. We welcome participation in all workshops (more in the application form). Registration is open until 15. 3. until the places are filled.

Raketa v sodelovanju z društvom ŠKUC predstavlja digitalne DJ delavnice! Brez pretiranega utrujanja s tehničnimi pojmi se osredotočamo na prakso – preizkušanje DJ opreme in medsebojno učenje, ker je didžejanje eden tistih hvaležnih izraznih medijev, in ker se je lepše učiti, če lahko učimo ena drugo.
Delavnice se bodo odvijale ob torkih popoldne od konca marca do konca maja v klubih Tiffany in Monokel z dvema terenskima obiskoma (Gromka in Klub K4) in nekaj dodatnimi delavniškimi vsebinami (npr. kje iskati muziko in DJ priložnosti, kako organizirati dogodek, kako razmišljati o miksanju w/ DJ Duki), ob koncu delavnic pa izvedemo še zaključni dogodek, ki ga ob Raketini podpori zorganizirajo udeleženke same.
Delavnice so prednostno namenjene ŽLINTA in KVIR osebam, vendar so prijave ob razumevanju in spoštovanju tega konteksta odprte vsem. Predznanje ni potrebno, je pa dobrodošlo – samo brez mansplaininga, prosim.
Program predvideva deset srečanj in skupno organizacijo zaključnega dogodka. Pozdravljamo udeležbo na vseh sklopih delavnic (več v prijavnici). Prijave so odprte do 15. 3. oz. do zapolnitve mest.
